Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
Gents, This has to be one of the most enjoyable Chris Harris videos of the last 12 months. Absolutely the most enjoyable way to enjoy breakfast under a blue mexican sky!

It has the cats removed so a nice sound as well.
Thats the Thursday evening Milford Cruising Club PCNZ fraternity meeting that you saw the cars at. I usually attend when in town. The GT3 belonged to Paul Higgins (well known collector with RS, Carrera 356 4 cam and now restoring one of the early Gmund cars - one of less than 20 left on the planet!). Cant remember who owns the 914 but Paul will know...
Congrats Matt. Looking forward to seeing it out and about...
Swing past HB when next in NZ and you'll see it. Apart from that it may be in AKL once a year for a service.
When I was driving home last night on SH1 what I really missed was cruise control. The RS and most of my other cars have cruise, and with the cops on the road (saw approx 8 last night with radars on) it is hard to keep the speed in check.
Thank god for the Napier-Taupo road and night time drivng. There is always fun to be had there.......

Might suggest to the RSG boys we take the NITT past you on the way back from Manfield this year. Maybe you could join us half way for the drive. We usually have a fun drive back to Taupo. Better yet bring the GT3 to Manfield and join us on the track. We had a number of visitors from HB last September just to say hi including Dr Alan Limmer and Garry D on this board. Great drive down in the CGT or P1 if you just want to hang out.
As for NZ driving I must have spent no more than 8-10 hours on SHW1 over the last 4 years and 30k km in my 911s. Best way to avoid cracked windows, cops and traffic is always back roads and the route to Taupo has many great choices. That kind of driving keeps you awake too. I agree SHW1 is too policed.
