Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

Pete. Nothing I can see. A few dawn start rally style raids on the N84 Route Napoleon up the Aples de Maritimes and maybe an overnighter to the Italian/French border and some nice little Apline passes I have been told about there which are very infrequently visited other than the odd Evo publication!
Ive spoken to Jo and we are thinking those dates look fine indeed.
Neil. 2018 is a long way away. 991 platform is touted to close out by 2019 so Im thinking Gen 2 GT3RS might be nice for you! The Carrera, Cayenne and Boxster model lines will all be turbo 4/6 pot by then 100% for sure with the Pana, Macan and Cayenne range being 35%+ hybrid so the only naturally aspirated choice I see will be the GT3 if there is still such a car. Porsche may have learnt from its (relative) underpricing of the current 991 GT3 however and decided to up the ante I guess and the current GT3 is already kicking the *** of most super cars twice the price and really only the 458 Speciale seems to consistently (and my a small margin) get the nod over the GT3 for performance irrelevant of the 2x+ list price. I think they will correct this anomaly a bit on the 991.2 GT3 RS which I suspect will be mid 300K NZD so by 2018 expect local price 380K++.
The other option would be the "960" (mid engine platform super car to sit above 911 and below 918). This should be production ready by 2018 and in base spec (8 cylinder?) could be a very interesting option for your Euro delivery!

Still before bedtime but it's amazing how Gs and decibels are no impediment to these guys dozing off, even if it means missing out on the Yamaha MT-07 at the lights. On the subject of co-drivers, I am pleased to say that Paul will grace the passenger seat come May - hopefully with eyes open.

Walt. Congrats. Good decision.
Pete. Do you reckon we can be cheeky and see if Peter Martin will give us a discount for an Earlyibird RSG group booking? There are 6-7 of us including Ron & regulars (which he may take exception too as they are always going). Just a thought. I will be booking early to get the discount regardless but thought it may help a little overall if we can negotiate another 10%.

Plenty of room for co-pilots in the yellow terror, even if they're out for the count:

Yeah. I agree. Probably a bit of a push. Lets see if we get any additional new entrants and take it from there. Looks like its going to be a great date!
Yep, modern litre sports bikes in the dry with a decent rider are a stretch (unless you can take the fight to over 250kph but when's that going to happen), but 600-750 sports - and big engined power cruisers - are fair game.
Three Wheelin'
Neil the trouble with 997 cup car is that there are now so many around that price is dropping all the time - soon a 996 cup will not much more than a 944 race car

First thoughts that sprung to my mind too Matt..........
The Porsche Racing series flyer prepared for the second round of sprints this year said to budget north of $30K. $5K a weekend is big money.
The 'north' allowance comes in if you want to be competitive......
I remember Steve joking this is why he doesn't own one..........
Unless you don't race it and just do open track days at 7/10th's - and then you could probably halve the bill.
