Even still... speed limit around here is 40 km/h...

Guess a highway loop is the way to go.

I think Amazon used the dealer price but honored it anyways. I ordered 2 and they were delivered last week. They are $1289 Cdn . Look forward to using it this weekend.

You can buy just the cradle and ball plate and use them with the other mounting parts that come with the Catalyst.

The Catalyst's magnetic mount does not fit in the cradle, so you would have to use Garmin's Fleet Suction Cup Mount with Magnetic Mount (part# 010-12543-00) which I have used with the Catalyst and confirmed that it works.

That base is no different from the supplied mag base except for no arms or connector. Does not appear it can be used with the clip. Did you use it with the Garmin clip?

Here is a photo of the magnetic mounts. Catalyst on the left. Fleet on the right.

So, are you saying the fleet mount will work with the RAM base part number you gave?

If so, thank you. That will be my preferred solution for people needing the safety net of a rigid attachment as opposed to the 3D printed clip.

Yes, the Fleet mount fits in the RAM cradle. I plan to post more photos later.

Thank you. That will be my recommended solution and I will have stock next Tuesday for all the components.

It is a weird corner(s). Also, you are giving up time in the bowl by again pinching very tight and you have plenty of room on the exit which means you could have started unwinding and throttling up earlier. It is also a tricky corner. New pavement looks awesome! Can't wait to get out there again - it has been a long time.

Some food for thought on different lines to try. Might be interesting to experiment with different things and see what the Catalyst pushes you towards.

Great lap! I agree, I left at least a second or two out there. I still think I have lots of room for improvement. I'm on Hoosier R7s with 10 heat cycles on this lap. Would have been nice to have a new set of tires and 70 degree temps!

Is it just the view angle or does the m-usb connector(smaller connector on the left side) look different?

It's just the view angle. The rectangular recess is different in size, but the mini-USB connector for power is the same.

Default Slipping off the first page...

I liked it when this string was #1 for over a month...in a way, slipping off the 1st page may be good (For me). I don't want my competitors reading about Garmin Catalys. That will be my little secret.

Talking Mount looks great...

Do you happen to have the RAM part #? Like to figure out the cost of the mount.

I now have that complete setup (RAM mount, Fleet mag base, RAM B-ball mount) in stock and ready for shipment to those that think they need it.

It is made specifically for this, and is the supported solution. $60 plus freight.

Of course, there are the carbon fiber and ABS “wings” that people have come out with for half to a little more than half of the RAM/Garmin solution above, and I have the ABS solution available, too.

Thank you, Eric Garci, for doing the work to figure this out.
