Isudar Carplay for PCM 3.1

Put all isudar EQ sliders at MAX ???? This would not be advisable in a Macan with a BOSE system. the gain would be significantly increased and you could blow something.
I ran pink noise through AUX then with an ipad RTA device targeted Harmon curve with the sliders. have good sound quality with very marginal tweaks on the isudar EQ. PCM AUX is at Bass= 0 , Treble = 0
RTA after pink noise adjusted by sliders.

The version number is engraved on the board itself…. In my specific case, as you can see in the photo, 1.2
I don’t know how you would tell other than looking at the board directly. I don’t think it will be apparent in the screen information.

Check your Hardware in the settings. I have the v2.0 board and it says S7.B

Maxing all gains is a bad idea for reliability.
And the DSP in the Isudar is significantly lower quality than the PCM.
Maxing all the EQ sliders sounds AWFUL. I tried this at one point when I thought the Isudar gain was too low (volume was super low even with Isudar Vol near max), before I figured out that the PCM and the Isudar volumes are independently functional.
I have a lot of experience in car audio and played with this at length when I got mine set up.
My strong suggestion: Use the PCM to tweak sound as close as possible to your liking, obviously recognizing the limits of the "bass" and "treble" controls. Then if you know what it is and how to use it, do RTA using the Isudar EQ, but with a VERY light touch - like I said the DSP in the Isudar isn't great so you want it to have as little influence as possible.
Edit: FWIW my setup wound up with PCM bass and treble both at "0", and only minor cuts (-1, -2dB) to a couple midrange frequencies in the Isudar EQ. (Burmester stereo)
Edit2: Also, if you really care about SQ, used wired Carplay connection to Isudar, it sounds much better than wireless Carplay (I 100% do this). And if you REALLY want best SQ, use wired iPod functionality on the PCM, not Isudar Carplay - it sounds better, but I'm not willing to give up Carplay functionality.

A friend has board version 1.2, and his HW version in that screen also shows S7.B…. Not reliable source to determine HW version. Maybe model number in box is better approach if your board is already installed and you don’t have the desire to take system out to look at it.
This is his board (1.2)
This is what his screen shows:

Three Wheelin'
How long does it take Kimi or someone from iSudar to respond? I sent some emails starting on Friday. I realize it was the weekend and is the middle of the night going into Tues in Beijing right now. However, it has been crickets.

I wouldn’t use that information. I don’t think is reliable.
