I might be in too deep on the FW update. I pulled the fuse and restarted the PCM. When I press “Info” I get a barely fuzzy screen, then it stays black. After pulling the fuse and reinstalling, I started up the PCM right away. I’m done for the night so we’ll see what happens.

I tried that but problem still going on, I also have the connection problems mentions here when leaving te car, the phone won't reconnect.

How can you tell if you have a v1.2 or v2.0 board?

V2 has a new chip build on the mainboard (for better sound)

@Porshatt go to the screen with the sw version on and at the bottom it gives you the hardware version. If its something like S7.B its the newer board 2.0.0.B for the older board.
Also if you still have the box part no. ending 8813WP3 is V2 8013WP3 is V1

The upgrade process is super easy, just read before you write... Then put all the bars in the Isudar EQ up to max. Lower the volume from the **** and that will fix the sound issue. Old boards new boards whatever, doing this will provide you with great quality.

Is the update worth doing? Does it fix anything??
My unit works perfectly apart from this 30mins to disconnect and not reconnecting automatically if I go out of range within those 30 mins. And I'm on -0927

In version 902 I had connection problems and no black screen problems. In version 1124 the connection problems and the black screen exist. If I turn off the pcm completely with the volume button (holding it for 10sec) and then turn it back on (one click), the display turns on.

I don't think the latest version 2201 is for my board? The sound is then not audible via bluetooth on the PCM itself and in the Android environment. The sound issue is fixed when flashing back to 1124 but other problems, connectivity and black screen are still there.

@AngelDutchy the only update I have used is from the Isudar website here:- PCM 3.1 update
I'm only on BSJ1210926-0927 but no black screens even after 6 hour round trip.

Hi all - I was having similar issues as @Santirx pointed out to you. Kimi sent me an update file dated 0105. I shared it with @Santirx and I believe he posted it in this thread. For the most part is is working, some glitching here and there, but nothing like before. The one time it did disconnect when using wireless it reconnected right away. I will keep you all posted on how it performs in the near future with regular use. I have been away from the car for a few days...

Which board do have though? Santirx has that update in a folder labelled for V2 boards only, I have the earlier one

Put all isudar EQ sliders at MAX ???? This would not be advisable in a Macan with a BOSE system. the gain would be significantly increased and you could blow something.

I ran pink noise through AUX then with an ipad RTA device targeted Harmon curve with the sliders. have good sound quality with very marginal tweaks on the isudar EQ. PCM AUX is at Bass= 0 , Treble = 0
