yeah, amazing what wheels and a lower stance can do for a car.... I'm pretty sure you can do a wing delete, should be no problem.....although I think it looks much better with the wing

kinda like that Rapid Blue color......

He is also selling $150,000 cars. Chevy is not. I take this guy at his word, unfortunately

Agreed, once the road tests come out we'll know how it will affect the 718 and others in the field.

I remember when GM said they would never build convertible cars again, when the "last" Cadillac convertible was built in 1976. Things change.

I saw an interview with one of the engineers who was giddy talking about the new suspension geometry and traction due to the mid-engine. "I can not WAIT for people to drive this car" was his emphatic line. Something tells me they are fairly confident it'll be a crowd pleaser to drive.

ive haven't been without a stick shift since 1980 but im pretty much over it. im happy with a good dct for sports car that I drive around town in traffic, 3 hrs highway to and from track, then hpde. I don't blame vette for ending it. but never know what happens when the variants come out in few yrs.

I drove stick shift cars exclusively for several hundred thousand miles in different cars, and I too am over it. I'm very happy with PDK or any other good DCT. I no longer need to be rowing the car around town or down the track with my right arm just to feel like I'm engaged in the experience. Having said that, it sucks and is short-sighted to not offer both stick and DCT in a sports car. Different strokes for different folks.
