Going to be hard to find where I left off on the old thread I was on.

I'm not gonna go back through all of this.

Oh well... Have fun folks.

Hope one of y'all get one soon so we can see / hear about it.

I had a torch red C6 ZR1. My kids thought is was gaudy. My kids are in grade school. They don't see through blinders. They see through their own eyes. Maybe you are too old too old to consider another generations perspective - which I readily admit is not my perspective - but at least I consider it.

This is absolutely correct.

Yeah I know the argument.......and you are mistaken that free speech is only about how the government cant put you in jail for our speech. It's the same argument that facebook and twitter use to censor people who disagree with their political views. The fact is that the internet (FB, Twitter, RL etc), is the modern Roman forum. This is how all of us converse in a modern society. The fact that our computers have replaced stone platforms in the Roman forum is irrelevant. Free speech still applies.

This is exactly why FB and Twitter will be regulated eventually. The same rules that apply to free assembly and free speech in any other protest that we watch on TV will eventually apply to all of these forums.

The fact that so many swift actions have been taken to anything that contained the name Corvette in it,while all the other " Off topic " threads have been left alone, tells me Chevrolet is on to something! Perhaps some Porsche higher-ups have intervened to have the Corvette stuff moved or deleted...I wouldn't be surprised!
This makes me want to get this car even more...I spoke to my wife and even if they don't offer a manual,I will get it and let her drive it : she was very happy!
We pay membership and support this forum to get bullied around...BTW,where are my Rennlist stickers IB,I have renewed months ago and I haven't received anything?!

You guys are easily excitable. Wouldn't be surprised if your build screenshots are at the 6 figure mark yet I can guarantee you're hung up on the 60k number. I'm trying to buy into the hype but it's just too awkward looking in base trim.

Let's see how the GS/Z06/ZR1/Zora turns out. Wider hips, bigger aero, and better wheels will do wonders. I bet the GS will be the one to have if you track regularly.

I'm not sticking to the base car dream, that's the nice thing. 60K base could mean 100K very well equipped. I have a base Carrera now, it was quite a ways over that number. So I'm ok with the 100K if the build quality lives up to that. I heard an interesting viewpoint expressed somewhere (if I was younger I might remember where! ) that they should have started at 100k for it, so they could ensure the build quality and materials...... as I said, interesting viewpoint, not sure that I agree with it.

BTW, the build of mine above I would almost bet my house is around 100K. If it looks as good as the screen shot I would say it could be worth it.

Base trim in black looks amazing. Just need the bigger spoiler.

You probably know there were a few great vendors (including one from Italy) with the classic, round tail light look for the C7.. .... so yeah, fair bet it won't be long.

I certainly look forward to the Z06/ZR1 versions. My guess is they’ll start at 100k.

The current ZR1 stars at 124K, ticked a few options boxes and got it to 145k also priced up the current Z06 and got that to 114k without trying

Perhaps they have slashed the pricing on the C8 or are planning to?

So 90% of the people who viewed a C8 thread in their respective RL forums will see those threads vanish never to be found again? Or are there links guiding them from there to this thread in the basement? Why was this done in the first place — any official explanation?
