I had a Porsche ordered in 2018 but when I discovered the CodeNameZerv leaks, I decided to wait and see what ensued. Two days ago, GM came out with the new Stingray. Sure there will be a ZO6 and perhaps one called a Zora that is super hybrid (1000 bhp and electric motors). But the Stingray, with a Z51 package on a NA 6.2 lt. V8 puts out 495 bhp, 470 ft. lbs. of torque. It has, both, magneto-rheological engine mounts and coil over shocks. And this is a $60,000 car! Imagine what you can do with an extra $20k?? Watch out!!

Evidentially, GM has tested the mid level configuration at the ring and it ran faster then the GT2RS!! Now that's an accomplishment.

sniff sniff....it just doesn't have the feel of my 911 Seriously, if they had just put simple round taillights on this car ala the 458, it would knock it out of the park.

Don't misinterpret my single posting. I've been a dedicated Porsche guy for several years. I just went away when I started following the C8 and wasn't paying attention to Rennlist. What's wrong with this rear end!?!?

Once they get the bugs out, I may add one in 2022. Keeping my 718!

The base can fit a 305 size tire... Does that mean the Grand Sport with Z06 package can squeeze a 335 in?? 🤔

718 GT4 Pricing makes no sense compared to this. I'm waiting for the Z06 so the bugs can get worked out. I'll bet the Z06 costs less than the base price of the new GT4.

Never been one for forced induction but if the Z06 just blows away my mind that may very well change.

Looking at actual pics and not renderings: Squashed Camaro with overdone NSX accents. Ugly AF!

That's a fine looking automobile right there! Looks at least 3x its price.

I don't think it looks anything like the NSX but that's just me.
