In my case, yes, as I have over 100K miles on my CD. The extended 6-year/100k extension has expired but I can still rely on the bridge warranty until the proposed emissions repair has been either approved or disapproved.

PCNA great help and answers :S after 20 calls

I apologize about the frustration that your vehicle concern has caused you.

I was able to follow-up with the Service Manager, xxxx, at xxx Porsche for further clarification on your issue. He advised that the specific item you are seeking to have replaced under the Porsche Limited Warranty is not a covered part(TRIM). I was able to verify that he did utilize all resources provided to him in coming to this conclusion.

I understand this is not what you were expecting to hear.

I apologize that you feel the warranty information provided is not clear. In the letter provided to Cayenne Diesel customers it states that it is a Porsche Limited Warranty. We never outline the parameters of what would be covered, so I do apologize about that.

We would hate to lose you as a customer, but I will document that feedback here.

Kind Regards,

it's a Certified preowned warranty

Someone on ClubTouareg got a hold of someone at the Bosch Settlement site and had reported that the first batch/wave of checks had gone out 09/15/2017.

We may start hearing reports of those that may have gotten them any day now if it is true.

I too contacted the Bosch settlement site and asked them when we'd get the money. They eventually replied to me by email that they'd be happy to look up my vehicle information and get back to me. So I emailed them my info (used my VW/Porsche claim reference number since I don't have a Bosch number) with VIN and address and name. That was a few days ago so we'll see if they reply ... I hope the mid September info is accurate as it would imply they are working through their claims.

We got a check from Bosch today for $750. Anyone else?

Thought the settlement was for $1500.

We're the original and only owners of the vehicle.

Got my $750 also today in the mail. Wonder why only half the amount? I am one and only owner too.

An Eligible Owner of an Eligible Vehicle in the 3.0-liter Settlement will receive $1,500 in the Bosch Settlement unless:
An Eligible Former Owner has identified himself or herself and filed an approved claim for the Eligible Vehicle in the VW 3.0-liter Settlement, in which case the $1,500 payment will be split equally ($750 each) between the Eligible Former Owner and the Eligible Owner.
An Eligible Former Lessee has identified himself or herself and filed an approved claim for the Eligible Vehicle in the VW 3.0-liter Settlement, in which case the Eligible Owner will receive $750 in the Bosch Settlement.
Two Eligible Former Owners have identified themselves and filed approved claims for the Eligible Vehicle in the 3.0-liter Settlement, in which case the $1,500 will be split among the Eligible Owner and the two Eligible Former Owners, with $750 going to the Eligible Owner and $375 each to the two Eligible Former Owners.
An Eligible Lessee in the VW 3.0-liter Settlement will receive $1,200 in the Bosch Settlement.
The above payments are net payments to Class Members. They will not be reduced by attorneys’ fees or expenses for Class Counsel.

One guy had turned in his VW in the buyback and received the full $1,500 from Bosch.

I suspect that, just as with the participation payment which is 1/2 now, 1/2 after the fix, it will be the same with the Bosch $$$ for Gen2 participants.

Just called. Other than the ~3 minute spiel you have to listen to before you can select an option, not a bad experience dealing with them.

The agent who answered said I should receive $1500. She didn't know why it didn't come in one payment, though there is a section that says, "The entire Bosch Settlement fund, plus any interest, will be distributed over the course of the settlement process through a combination of one or more payments to Bosch Settlement Class Members...." She said she'd escalate it to the next level to find an answer and call back.

On the back of the check, however, it says that endorsing and depositing the check acknowledges the individual release of claims in the settlement. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I don't want to deposit a partial amount check that could then used as fulfillment of the settlement. Of course, the settlement does say $1500, so....

The Bosch settlement is independent of any fix, so it's not tied to getting the fix.

I received the $750 check from Bosch today and am also haunted by the wording on the back of the check. Aargh. The check is only good for 90 days.

I called the Bosch number 844-305-1928. Enter 5 to talk to a person. Of course she didn't know why I didn't get the $1500. It is as if they think there is another owner of my car. I also asked if by signing the check I waive my rights to the remaining $750. I'm waiting for a call back.

I also received $750 from Bosch today. There was no information on why. Has anyone received the full $1500?

The pattern I have seen is that the Touareg guys who have turned in their vehicles have gotten the full $1,500 while the Gen2 guys are getting $750.

I received the $750 check today. I will have to re-read the Bosch settlement as the back of the check says signing is a release set forth in the settlement.
