No, not to my understanding. I think part of the settlement supposedly includes "one free oil change" and "one free AdBlue refill".
If they don't get a fix approved by the deadline.

went in tuesday, did the settlement paperwork, and got the 40k service done on both the cayenne and 991.
Got the email from chase last night, $5000 in my checking account this morning, and then immediately forwarded that to my credit card to pay for the servicing! ($3k for 2 cars!!!!!)

1068, and then another 185 to have the tires balanced. Been having issues where 2 local tire stores tried 5 times to balance. We have aftermarket wheels and it turned out they crushed the plastic hubcentric spacers. The dealer was able to find, and correct the problem for us with new ones they had on hand.

I know its a little more expensive to have the dealership do the services, but I do the in between oil changes myself and go to them for the bigger ones. Its served me well, as after I bought my 991 CPO and had the tail lights tinted and front headlights covered with clearbra, we saw cracking in the taillights and delamination on the headlights. They replaced them for me under warranty, even with the mods.

the lady said it was coming, automatically, but as she was a 3rd party administrator, she had no idea when. She said a lot of people know nothing about it until she tells them.

It has been so funny, or interesting at the very least, to see so many, even on the Touareg TDI board, where all the guys are "When is the money coming, when is the Bosch, $1,500 coming?" as if they/y'all are on your last dime, poor Porsche Cayenne diesel owners, need the $1,500 so bad . . .

From what I have read, we'll be looking at late September or October at the soonest. There is no deadline for Bosch to payout as they were not forced to payout, they chose to pay everyone $1,500, hence, no timeline or announcement of the payout(s) at all.

Hey! At a rough conservative calculation that's about 13,750 miles worth of fuel

But yeah, I agree.

Ha!

It is money in the bank at this point. What do I know, some of the other TDI/diesel owners could be living paycheck to paycheck, upside down in life. What do I know? Reminds me of Morrie in Goodfellas, always pestering Tommy and Henry for his cut of the Lufthansa heist.

It also reminds me of the recent commercial that showed a guy living it up, going on vacations all over the world, playing with every toy available, someone asks him,

"Hey, how are you able to live such a fantastic lifestyle."

"Man, (huge smile on his face) I'm in debt up to my eyeballs!"

I was told the Bosch money comes after the fix is installed. It makes sense since it verifies the programming is replaced and then they pay out.

Here's what I got back in an email after contacting Bosch on their claims portal info@BoschVWSettlement.com

If your 2.0-Liter or 3.0-Liter VW Settlement claim is approved prior to May 2017, your automatic Bosch Settlement award is being processed and will be sent to you as payment files become available. The first batch of payments have already been sent out and payments will continue to be sent throughout the life of the case on a rolling basis. Please be patient. As a neutral third party Claims Administrator, we do not have a specific timeline for your individual payment.

Pretty sure that's incorrect. I think the settlement states it comes with the 1st half payment.

I'm not going to look it up in the settlement, but you can find it in there if you want.
