Hi,

fully agree - "Last Mode" does the job for me either.

Anyone who tries to code it with Piwis should just be aware that (due to consistency checks by Piwis), it would not work just to code the settings in the Aircon ECU.

Cheers, Rainer

Interesting. Can you please detail what/where are the other items Piwis re-codes for Last Mode enablement only? Is it because you are not in Engineering Mode that those consistency checks are done?

As stated above, the values are in 4 different ECUs.

the parameter in all 4 ECUs is simply called „Start-Stopp“, the value can be set to either Default On, Default Off, or Last Mode.

and yes - consistency checks are standard mode in Piwis. This is why SS needs to be coded to multiple ECUs at the same time - else the coding does not throw an error message but the changed coding values do not get stored.

this is different in developer mode - many more parameters are displayed and can be changed, each as single value w/o any x-checks. Lots of those are not available to the dealer at all as they only work in standard mode (Aftersales Mode).

Thank you for the clarification Rainer. Always good to have info on how it works with the Piwis. 👍

Now if someone can figure out how to close rear lid from remote and button on the door, I'd send em MaCallan 15.

If you turn the key on you should be able to close the hatch by holding the door switch several seconds until you see it closing. Please PM me for address to send the McCallan

Turns out one of my younger brothers already has the Launch X431 Diagun. He's shipping it to me via Fedex as I write this. I'll be wading in here soon,

This is the Cayenne section. Macan is a different beast. Similar but not equal.

I think the difference is the fact that it's a 2011 vehicle compared to a 2020 one, not that the coding is that different if similar years between a Cayenne and a Macan for the same module. Wouldn't make any sense to have different sensors for these two vehicles from the same manufacturer nor different code for the same module.

2015 Diesel Cayenne
Using a Diagun IV accomplished the following:

Remote Keyfob window activation
LED in plate and side markers
Welcome screen logo (changed to Turbo S ...lol)
Turbo boost in engine monitor screen

Could Not:
Check differential change interval

Will play some more and post results.

So you got the license plate lights to accept the led option? How did you do that? Mine says code written then reverts back to no.
