One more coding thing. Now that I figured out what the ding-ding sound is - txt notification on the BT-paired cell, is there a way to change it? I figured out how to turn it off, but is there a way to change it from ding-ding to just ding? Or dong? I spent some time with my 431-919 but could not find where it might be hiding, if it is there.at all. Thank you.

You'll find the options in Vehicle Menu:

I tested both functions today:
if you tick the checkbox for maintain temp the car will keep the interior the same temp for 10 minutes after you shut off the ignition.
you can also set either single or recurring schedules for precooling/heating. this will keep the car cool/warm for 10 mins after the timer activates.

One note: the car will not allow this function to be set if the lithium battery is below 20% so this leads me to believe this will only work on the SEH.
Hi @gabylonfive

I enabled this on my car and the "Precool/heat timer" option has appeared but "Maintain temp" hasn't. Did you have to do anything else to get this enabled? (or perhaps it's a regional/geo thing - I am in the UK)

Cheers
Mark

@9000RPM happy I ran into this post I’m in Franklin township. Just got a 992 gts. Need some coding help. Come from a history of coding on BMW’s for many years new to Porsche.
