RNM, again.. people don’t want to sell or buy Porsches right now.. maybe because they’ve increased much more rapidly than others, and need to come down proportionally?

I thought 102k was pretty good for a 167k sticker coupe with red interior but what do I know. Plus fees it's probably 107k?

A 991.1 with 23k in a nice yellow just RNM'd for the same amount as the 997 lol..
There has to be a rush to the exit soon... ? But Porsche owners are usually a bit more well off than others so maybe no rush and they'll all be part of estate sales..

Hence why you always buy the car and not the deal. My TTS probably dropped $15k year over year. Figure in the sales tax and xpel I probably lost $25-$30k in a year but I still wouldn't want anything else parked in my garage.

This seems to have been a decent deal. A lot of owners but car seems well kept, figured at that price it would RNM

Always hard to judge price on a modded car.

Agreed, although those were quality mods and completed by BBi which is reassuring, certainly not mods I would place as value-hindering. I think the biggest knock on that car was the amount of owners, though I'm thinking we might have to get used to that after what covid did to the used car market. Might need to start adding a +1 or 2 owner history handicap for transactions during 2020-2021

2011 with 39K miles for $85K?

I guess I'm keeping my 2011 107K mile beater until the wheels fall off

Which really isn't all that terrible

That one made me consider going with a PDK. I don't think the premium for manual is worth it if it's 20K over.. 10K, fine... but 20K+, I don't think so. Think I might just open my potential candidate list... lol

Been admiring this car's painted hardbacks for a while but never reached out to the seller...thought it was sold, but it popped up on Pcar (ironically enough I currently have a car on Deal Tank that I am trying to move to buy either a Turbo or a 997 GT3).

Does this DME say the over-revs occurred about two driving hours ago?

looks that way but there are no range 5 or 6 so that DME is perfectly fine.

I have developed quite a crush on that car! If I was in the market for a 997 Turbo, this is probably the car I'd spend whatever it took (if I had it to give, anyway) to make it mine.

I'm also following this auction which ends soon: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...urbo-coupe-55/ This car is very close to what I own---same year, same body style, same transmission, same color, and very similar options. Though my interior is gray vs black and that car is optioned with the LSD. My car has 8k less miles and the driver's seat is in much better condition. The MSRP between the car is very close as well.

finally getting a chance to look at this. my goodness what an interior. not only are the painted seat backs doing it for me but it has yellow seatbelts and yellow stitching too. on top of all that, the black leather PCM trim and just the right amount of carbon.

that might be my favorite 997.1 interior i've ever seen.

I agree! In fact, I was thinking about this earlier today - the yellow stitching and painted seat backs really set the interior apart.
