That’s exactly what I would have said four weeks ago, until that 2012 manual coupe with 26k miles and accident damage on BaT was bid to $140k. Still blows my mind but I guess that’s where we are! $200k, albeit high, might very well be an accurate reflection of the current market.

it's a common problem but you can find plenty of examples of colored gauges that look perfect and there are teardowns that show what that overlay looks like. sure looks like one solid piece / not a decal to me.
a replacement overlay is available from FVD for $700. tearing the cluster apart looks tricky and i've read the needle stalks are easy to break. i'll probably ship mine to palo alto speedometer who quoted $600 for the overlay swap.
there are full used clusters on ebay that look good. both my local indy shops tell me they don't think their version of PIWIS can do the coding to program my mileage to the replacement cluster and the porsche dealer won't install a used cluster. i think a new cluster retails for $3.5k.

The ceramic brakes jumped out immediately, and I expected a high end build. But the car doesn't even have the Sport Chrono package, and the interior, except for the sport seats, is quite plain. But I guess it doesn't really matter what these cars are "worth", if the seller has the patience to await a buyer who wants one of these and doesn't care what the asking price is.

seems like folks might have been waiting until spring to sell. 3 new auction listings all posted in the last few days. all look to be driver quality with about 60k miles and unmodified, other than infotainment upgrades. that meteor grey one is pretty heavily optioned with a $147k sticker price.

It's interesting how there appears to be zero hype about 997 Turbos over in the UK. A nice looking 44k-mile example sold for just $63k the other day and every time I see auction results from over there, you'd think it's 2017 still.

i was surprised this one did not break 100k. very well optioned, PCCBs, $155koriginal sticker, and low-ish miles. maybe the minor carfax incident dinged it a bit.
