Wink ´08 Cab purchased on eBay in Miami

Bought the car, White over Black, 20" Vossen wheels, 7k miles on wheels & tires, 51k on car for $63k. The Salvage title car on eBay (same year, same color except Red interior 31k miles) is listed at $64,900 but dealer will take $60. I´ll take the clear title car any day. Other car has been on for months now. The Black ´04 Cab´s owner, on eBay offered it for $65...but I don´t like black. I am very happy with price and car.

Anyone have thoughts on this one: https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/d...-911-turbo-13/

The car was bid to $105k (which I thought was pretty strong all things considered), it didn't sell, and the seller has it in the Deal Tank for $118k

i really don't know how to value those sub 20k miles cars.

what i can tell you is i don't appreciate the jerk(s) that left those stone guard on so long to get into the condition they are in. they will probably come off fine if done by a professional with steam and going slow but man, that's really bad. those are probably the original ones that came with the car. always a chance film that old pulls paint.

My impression is that the exterior finishes (with the exception of the stone guards of course) are consistent with expectations for a 14k mile car.

The interior on the other hand shows a higher degree of use and some fundamental neglect. Plus for me, I would pass on any car without sport seats - especially a car in such a common color combination.

The $105 number looks correct to me.

MSRP was $129K. Artic Silver and Black is just not that special. Then again it's a two owner car with under 15K miles. I have read every 1,000 miles depreciates these 6-speed cars by $1,000. Assuming a purchase price of $110K, this would be comparable to a 30K mile car priced at $95K which seems about right in today's market. IMO, it would be a very good buy at $105K, but doubt the seller will let it go for that.

220 Axle-Differential Lock Rear
342 Heated Front Seats
640 Sport Chrono Package Turbo
692 Remote CD Changer (6 Disc)
810 Floor Mats - Interior Color
AT Black Full Leather
X1 Arctic Silver Metallic
XCZ Sport Shifter
XSC Porsche Crest in Headrest

carrara white, manual, coupe owners, get in here
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...urbo-coupe-24/

definitely seems like an anomaly for the current market. 24k miles is low but it's not that low.

Wow! I still don't think I would sell. What would I replace it with?

I agree. I think it's a situation when you happen to have the right buyer in the "room" at the right time. That looks to be a perfectly (IMO) modded car for the greatest number of people. The wheels and stance/ride height are about perfect, IMO, for a 997 turbo. No way I'd pay anywhere near $142k for it however.

100% - this one caught my eye early and I kept an eye on it, was shocked to see it went that high so I read through the comments. Much more than right buyer in the room.... the buyer was the 2nd owner of the car and it was sold in a divorce in 2014 for $66k. Safe to say he really really wanted it back

I saw a previous owner bought it, reading his story, I can see his motivation.

Having said that, it takes two to tango, so someone else wanted it pretty badly as well. There were three active bidders up to $138k, and four at $135k. I would have been just as surprised with $135k, given the way recent auctions have gone.

I quite like the factory .1 turbo wheels and had not really thought about changing but not going to lie, see that car with the champion motorsport wheels, I am really digging them.

just missed out on a 2011 911 turbo with manual and aerokit. congratulations if someone on here snagged it from sanfranciscsportscars.com. you beat me by 30 minutes.

$80k with approximately 90k miles, but looked really well kept.

Says it was 89K plus taxes and fees..
But still, that's a great deal. I paid more for one with more miles and a 2010 with a very minor incident

Sounds like Rosemont83? He just bought a manual with similar mileage.
