If I recall, Lease Master is Allthingsporsches.
Looks like All Things Porsche did get that <200-mile RS 4.0 from Manheim. Knowing this dealer, I bet they are asking $900k for it.

HA! They don't call him Rapid for nothing.

This center lock sticks out like a sore thumb on a car that looks immaculate otherwise. Looks like it was just pulled out from the bottom of an old dirty parts bin.

Seems like a super clean example, maybe too clean looks like it’s been sitting… they should really replace the 12 year old tires, don’t want the new owner getting a surprise when he tries to take it for its first spin in 5 years.

I'm a hopefully future owner but it feels like a dream slowly slipping away. I want that dream car now that I can keep for 10-20 years and drive lots of miles, make lots of memories. For the longest time $100k was the number in my head I had to reach to buy a good one and that doesn't even touch some of the questionable cars today. Unless my income is 3-4x what it is now I just don't see ever being willing to pay what these cars go for today. I know cost is all relative to how much money we have. It's no surprise to me that someone that has now decided they have to have one whatever the cost that also has a seemingly unlimited budget will just pay it. I'm now crossing my fingers that 981 GT4s don't find their way up to 997 GT3 prices too soon.

I was in the same position as you when I bought my car. Had a budget and looked for the highest option/best condition car I could find within that budget. Realized I didn't have the time or knowhow to be investigating the few cars for sale all over the country to find what was right. I ended up hiring Doug from Switchcars and he was able to find me my perfect spec in just a couple months. Granted this was in December 2019 and the car was delivered in January 2020 before this craziness started.

I don't really care about the values of them at this point. I'm not a seller. I actually hope for your sake that prices come back down so you can find a car in your budget. This market is really disappointing right now for individuals looking to buy and getting priced out by dealers coming in buying cash with no PPI and no questions asked. And that's coming from someone who supports capitalism.

Best of luck with your search //Steve\\!

It's been serviced pretty regular except for one span between 2017 and 2020, unless the dealer didn't report to Carfax which does happen. Even with Porsche dealers.

As to tires leave the original ones on. The new owner can buy his favorite or if it's going into a museum they may prefer the original rubber.

@//steve\ make sure you put up wanted ads and have things together to make a purchase. I don't know if you have to finance or not, but GT4s are bad-***.

When I get there I intend to take a wide variety of approaches to find the right car. My goal is no financing (or maybe I finance it because it makes the most sense but I could pay cash if I wanted), but I'm still a little ways out I think. I like to think in a year or two I'll be in a position to make a move but that's provided prices on all this stuff don't go much higher and I know a lot can happen in that time. I'm positive I'd thoroughly enjoy a GT4 and if I was able to find my way into a GT3 later great, if not, GT4 wouldn't be the worst place to be stuck.

991.2 GT3 market seems like it has been softening based on the last couple BAT and Pcarmarket auctions. Only a couple auctions, but would need to see some more to be certain. Whole market doesn’t seem quite as strong.
