What steering wheel is that? Assuming not the original since it has the RS stripe.
I wasn't a fan of the yellow gauges but now I don't mind them, car is speed yellow, but with steels. Bought with 9k miles, drove it across province back home.

Steering wheel is rewrapped a bit thicker than stock with added yellow RS stripe. I might put my RS steering wheel on so that its more OEM+.

I’m told it has all original paint, a clean DME report, and has a 5-lug conversion (has original parts and wheels to convert back to stock if desired). You can contact Darrell at Karpark if you are interested or have any questions.

I relatively recently relocated from the bay area to the Boston area last spring, but still have a home in the Monterey area. Was at the event at Karpark last June, but I drove my C2S to the event. But my .2 RS was still parked in the storage area until the middle of August when I had that and my 991.1 3RS shipped to the east coast.

Sucks for whoever buys the BAT car, the center lock setup is not included if you plan to switch back. But you can buy it from them.

when a dealer wants to nickel and dime OE parts that should be included in the sale.

Why in hell would anyone ever want to go back to center locks

That's low in my book.

People who don't track their cars and are not changing wheels every week don't seem to mind center locks. Myself included. Yes, there is a bit of complexity added which is really not necessary for a road car, but I never had an issue taking a wheel off. I really don't see what the big deal is. I just read through the comments in that auction. I don't get the "stranded in the middle of nowhere with a flat" anti-center lock crowd. Are these people really carrying a jack and spare tire in their 5 lug converted GT3s so they can do road side tire changes? If not, doesn't a flat bed pick up a stranded car the same way whether it has 5 lugs, a center lock, or wheels that are permanently welded on? Assuming you have the right tools with you, I just can't see a situation where a center lock equipped car would be stranded while a 5 lug car could carry on.

Anyway, back on topic. Can't wait to see where this car hammers. Very nice example. (too bad it's missing the center locks )

Incredibly surprising It’s not available with the car for whatever it sells for. I can’t imagine the market for used centerlock parts is that big and even if the seller could get $2-3k after, I’d hope he’d include them if someone wanted it at no extra cost. I don’t like nickel and diming on a $100k+ car.

I almost could understand if no one mentioned wanting it and the seller keeping it, but otherwise I’d want that stuff to be included if I asked. Sweetens the deal.

I'm surprised. I thought the center lock conversion parts and wheels were included in the sale when I asked about it. They must've changed their mind or when I asked they said the parts were available, but not included in the sale. Not a deal breaker especially since this car is super clean, but not ideal.

The car looks super clean, but no center locks on a .2 and the dealer having them in hand, but not including them will hurt the final sale # imo.
