Good Morning Gent's!

Just got back from a Canadian ice fishing trip and I have been sort of hands off on the selling of my car and letting Doug do the work. I am jumping in now to give you all an update. There has been one serious offer that fell through for a simply ridiculous reason (PM for details) and a few others that involved selling cars to buy the car. I am aware the 400K price is steep. That asking price was determined by Doug based on the rarity and condition of the car. I still own the car and I will take less than 400K for the car. You all know the car and I am happy to answer any questions you may have here on this thread or by PM. I am an open book on this car. As Mooty says, Offers buy cars! I will also happily drive the car next year if it doesn't sell. There is so much documentation with this car it's amazing.

Doug has been great to me and I have dealt with him on 3 cars now. He is as good as gold. I want the sale to go through him. I will approve the selling price.

Any questions fire away!

Mj

Best of luck Mj. Also good on you for keeping the relationship with a trusted seller going. I know that many want private party sales, but when you get to deal with someone that is trustworthy and multiple parties get to benefit, it is a win win. Excited to see what you end up with next.

Thanks Bxstr I appreciate the kind words! As far as private party sales go I understand your point! That said, I am in control of the selling price so there is always room to negotiate.

Oh I'm actually on the side of using someone trusted, like you are. I wouldn't private sale my GT3. I don't really want to deal with a $100k transaction. Too many moving pieces. You're doing exactly what I would, be available to answer questions, but run the transaction through someone.

I have no plans to. It has been my favorite car. Nothing can really replace it to me. Only thing that would cause me to sell it would be dire financial circumstances or health issues preventing me from driving manual. I'm sure I'll see you at a PCA event next summer like we did last summer.

For sure. I just read your reply to MJ as if you were in the process of selling yours as well. Good to see I was mistaken.

What do you think you would get to replace your PTS Guards Red .2 RS? RS 4.0? Even better .2 RS (though there aren’t many better .2 RS’ than yours)?

IT was CPOed there it seems.
