That car is perfect; looks like aftermarket exhaust or tips; would see if owner has stock parts. IMO, $150k is good price for that car; assuming clean DME report, no accidents, etc.

 

They have some great cars for sale! That red 7.2 GT3 is an amazing find! Any idea on asking price? And that black 7.2 GT2RS is unreal!!! Who owned that car only to put 800 miles on it over 10 years?!?!?!

 

Beautiful cars especially the guards red. I hope someone can realize their dream an get this car but I know these prices are pushing a lot of folks out.

Wow! About a year ago, I was able to get my .2 RS with less miles and a better config for the same kind of money. That kind of money also about a year ago could have bought you this Grey/Gold .2 RS. I remember this car sat for several months at this price, but it was probably because this car came up for sale at the beginning of the pandemic. Man how the car market has moved on.

Even though the asking price of this red car is $205k, I would still rather have a clean/well config’d 997.2 GT3/RS or 997.1 RS over a 991.2 GT3 and or even a Touring.

 

About time 911’s are posting for Monty Auctions. Let’s see where the real market is at.

 

I am tempted to snag the black/orange 7.1 RS at Pagani Beverly Hills; swap my 73 911S. Then add the CGT seats, Tequipment Rear Cage, Alcantara steering wheel and factory floor mats. Would be a gem! But probably better to wait for things to cool off...

 

So far the only 997 GT car that will be up for auction in Monterey. Mecum for the last 5 consecutive years in Monterey (besides 2020 as the auction was canceled) has had 997 GT3/RS’s up for auction so one may be added to go up for auction there.
