Hello RennListers, Looking for a 997.1 GT3 in the range of 100k-112k. Im located in Los Angeles and ready to buy. Missed out on the yellow one from Auto Kennel, been doing google searches but nothing new is coming up. Any help or leads would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You're doing the right thing. I would also put a wanted ad here and on the PCA website and if there's a way to put wanted ads on any for sale site do that too. Your budget is at the bottom of what they sell for, so you need to strike a balance between doing your due diligence and getting a car scooped right before your eyes. Set up searches on every website like Autotrader with instant notification. And check in here. Good luck to you.

So who has looked at the red 2010 GT3 at the Chevy dealer? Seems like it should be sold now at $129k and it's not. FWIW I spoke to a woman who sounded reasonable there named Stephanie Clay 630-828-5057
There was a member heading over there what happened with it?

You are thinking of the red .1 in texas I believe. It also has a scrape on the drivers side rear quarters. Clipped it in a parking lot according to the sales associate I spoke to.

Did a walk around, sat in and started the car.
My impressions… The dealer is selling the car on consignment for someone, didn’t get a lot of details. They provided a DME report which looked good, nothing alarming there. The sales guy didn’t know much about the car. Couldn’t tell me if there were aftermarket parts or anything (there is, an aftermarket Fabspeed intake from what I could see in engine compartment) Exterior generally seemed to be in decent shape, though whoever has driven the car had a disregard for curbs as all of the wheels show some curb rash. Front end has clear bra on it. Inside is in decent shape, with a few larger scuffs on the seat backs and door sills. I would say this is not a collector condition car by any means. Car has front axle lift system and the older version of PCM. All seem to be working fine. Service light is on, sales guy could not say what was due though.
Wasn’t optioned the way I’d like plus I don’t want another red Porsche, so it wasn’t for me. I think the price is a bit high for this example, but that is a big time personal opinion and prob not realistic given the market right now. Didn’t see any major red flags though for someone who doesn’t mind the color and could get around the wear and tear.
