depends on who you ask, LOL!!!!

if you ever get to that point (naturally, it should be years - if ever), let the market speak and answer this question

So, when did I get old? when I first got into GT3land, the less options were better, FAL was not liked (due to their eventual fail / high expense of fixing), extended leather was too heavy and steel brakes were the preference

I will admit though, PCCBs are well worth the cost (phenomenal), extended leather (dash especially) looks really nice, but I do hate the dash wart!!!

Over the long term, the leather won't do as well. I love the leather interior but long term, I can see it needing some attention.

Ready for my sardonic opinion?

"only year with clear taillights" who freaking cares

"babied since purchased, never tracked" - dude just bought it 7 months ago, he can't know that

"continue to go up in value" - then keep it

"only continue to appreciate in value" - then keep it

"This car has all the important factory options" - except PCCBs, Full Leather, Front Axle Lift - ya know, just the three big ones

"The car has exquisitely soft paint" - Must be really prone to rock chips or insults then.
We are on the same wavelength. That ad is comical at best.

long term as in 100 years? The leather dash on my ‘08 still looks brand new.

That’s why I only owned F-cars with Alcantara dashes (that would fade in the sun).

Consider Bring a Trailer or Cars and Bids too. A couple of friends of mine work at Cars and Bids, full disclosure. Another friend has bought multiple cars on Bring a Trailer and is actually selling his 997.1 Turbo with them soon. Good experiences. Best of luck with the GT3 search. .1 or .2? Base or RS?

Doug just sent out an email through GTVault that he has WP0AC2A99AS783278 available for sale. 40,300 miles. $129k.

Previous listing is here if you're not subscribed to GTVault.

That is a dangerous question for you to ask given how long it took you to source your dream car. I have a guy who would pay too much for that one.

Those miles indicate near/or top tier for 993. Concourse? If so, Sotheby’s or Gooding would be better. The online’s don’t do justice for the concourse types in my opine

I sell with all the auctions. I'd probably recommend Pcar in your scenario. Quicker turnaround than BaT by over a month, and a higher tier audience than Cars & Bids. Pcar has been getting good results lately for top-tier cars.

Good points. Might want to evade the timing for Carweek as some/most have their attention span elsewhere. Much like timing during the week/end.

either way best of luck. Everyone is raging over the 2S based upon forum analysis across multiple platforms. So….
