Is that because it didn’t hit reserve? Otherwise that doesn’t make sense to me. Why would the buyer pay significantly more than the high bud.

Yes, didn't hit the reserve. Without paying more, they weren't getting the car.

Maybe once the salesman and the high bider talked, the HB was reassured about the car and all the +++'s of the car. A human voice can go a long way to a faceless auction.

Not surprised it was RNM. It was a steal at $165k plus fees. I bet there were quite a few people willing to pay more than the high bid. Next time don't end an auction on a Sunday morning...

just joined and subscribed to this thread to help my search. I was just at Road America for the imsa weekend and spotted a white .2 GT3. Met the owner and asked if he would sell and he wasn't interested. Was worth a shot!

I love that Riviera blue RS for sale now at merit partners but $460k? Sheesh.

Oh and i was bidding on that red .2 GT3 earlier this spring on BAT from 911r. I loved the red gauges and interior accents.

24k-mile Carrara White .2 GT3 with PCCB, FAL, and DEM. Asking $195k. Has an aftermarket exhaust and looks strange as the tips stick out so much.
