It'll be interesting to look back on these prices in a year and see where we're at. Right now, there are a ton of speculators and "collectors" buying these cars and parking them with the hope that the values will continue to increase and they'll be able to sell for a profit later on.

Inflated price listings are very important for market price discovery because they set the price ceiling. When you see a clean car listed for months, it confirms that the true market is at a lower price point.
