I’m going to take a look later. I took the plate (or what I could get from it), put it into vinwiki and on the first try, that is the vin it showed. Figured it would be unlikely that plate would have happened to have returned another 2008 GT3 in Texas. But It’s definitely possible.

Going to look more later and will edit if incorrect. Weird that VIN Analytics doesn't show the deviated stitching, that is what makes me think it may not be the right VIN.

VIN Analytics has to be incorrect, the VIN I posted above should be correct. There is only one car that is a 2008 for North America in Carrara White with black full leather or natural leather with the following options. Those options are listed both on VIN Analytics and on the window sticker provided. That window sticker is also from Stuttgart Studios, which I would trust, but for some reason VIN Analytics must not be right on this. If someone else has better info, let me know and I'll edit.

vin on this one is definitely WP0AC29908S792174, or at least that’s the vin associated with that license plate.

Man. My perfect spec. Just registered for PCA to jump on this and currently stuck in an infinite 'you must be logged in to contact' loop... I'll only be moderately crushed to see this pop up at a dealer with a $20k mark up in a couple weeks

no reason to FOMO in ... no one is paying anywhere close to $130k for a 997.1 gt3 with that mileage. It looks like a nice car and is probably worth around what he’s asking for it, in my opinion.

All U.S. spec 997.1 GT3's are 50 state cars, aren't they? Is there actually a California emissions sticker somewhere?

Did this 2008 GT3RS in Utah get discussed by anyone?

2008 GT3RS 21k miles $130k

I am actively searching for a silver / orange RS.
I know this car.
I should have bought it for $105K ~ 18 months ago at Porsche of Irvine.
$129K is too much for the condition of this car.

That's all.

Yea I did a google and read all about it. Thanks!

Someone else talked about ot of state cars, and I've bought quite a few that way no problem, but there was mention about California emissions and I don't think any 997.1 with stock exhaust should be an issue, correct? I've bought a lot of motorcycles and that HAS been an issue there. Advice?

Should be a 50 state car. This is in the engine bay of my 997.1 GT3. Now if you had an exhaust, I’m guessing they may have an issue with that, but with a stock exhaust, should be no issue. Stock exhausts are easy enough to find though.

Disclaimer, I’m from Ohio, so outside of what a couple of friends have told me about getting inspections out there, that’s all I know.

yes, no problem registering any stock gt3 or any USA delivered Porsche for that matter in CA. Make sure the factory emission components are intact.

this car is priced aggressively for an RS. Out of curiosity what are the issues with it?
