The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

i kinda agree. Out of principle in this sitch feels like NFW - as someone else said people are amazing. But, emotion aside it’s not a lot of money, what are the alternatives for obtaining the original sticker, and ordering a new COA (now PPS) will cost $110 anyway. Not a must have for resale, but really nice to have with the car. down the road you will probably regret passing on the opportunity to grab them.

It was just on eBay as private, now dealer has it for 119k. Needs a bit of work and clean up before pictures get up is what dealer told me.

Not original Monroney, but pretty damn close from what I've seen... There is no way I'd do anything w/ that monkey and his storage unit.

imo, the risk of paying this guys over-due fees, and then the guy goes to the storage unit & says "ooops, I THOUGHT it was there!!!" ... "I'm so sorry, now I don't know where I left the dang thing" ({<but thanks for paying my storage fees>})
no way man. not me. I would go down there once it goes to auction & buy the whole damn thing outright.
There is principle here.
PLUS, remember, this guy can, up to the VERY last second, pay his over-due fees,... & at that point, if Kevin is not there in person, he would never know that the guy paid up.
OR,.. this guy could then say "well, it cost me $600 to pay over-due fees,... so like I said earlier, if you want the sticker, then please pay me the $600".
just my .02 ... but people play strange games,... & the fact that the words actually came out of his mouth to ask the guy (who just bought his $100k+ car) to pay storage fees,.... well, that tells everything about his character.
.... Back to our regularly scheduled programming of cars FS (but IMO, this has everything to do with cars for sale!!)

Not only would I not pay towards the sellers' over-due storage fees (?!) but I would reconsider my trust that he has been diligent about the car's maintenance and straightforward about its history and condition. In a world where you "buy the seller", this seller's stock would experience a significant drop in value in my book.

This Atlas Grey 2010 GT3 had its price lowered. Looks like it was tracked. $115,900 10k miles One owner. Driven less than 1k miles in the last 5 years.
2010 GT3
Vin Analytics VIN
If it checks out that's not a bad deal. And rarer than sh*t in that color.

More than 3/5 years it has been sitting for sale.

When I found the owner, I found plenty of records of him going to various tracks, Watkins Glen, Mid Ohio, so he was definitely using the car on track. But given the owner, I'm guessing he was servicing the car as he should. If it needed something, I'm guessing he would do it.
