Yep, this dealer NEVER changes their asking price….. their cars will sit until they get their price…. hence the 3 years….

Although in the current market they just might get their price!

The OP of the other thread, who owns the salvage yard and bought the car, says he still has it and it's "in the shop" getting repaired. I suggested he take a picture of the car wherever it is now with a copy of today's newspaper from Las Vegas where he is located. If he disappears and goes silent there's your answer. Granprix needs to be told this info so he can't plead ignorance.

I'm more than happy to call Dis and Dat, and ask Jeff directly. If he hangs up on me, well.......he don't have the car.

Great idea. Just remember from the other thread that Grand Prix now says that the car is still in Vegas (so the owner likely still has it), and is not yet enroute, as previously represented by the dealer. Exterior cover image is a fill-in, and not the actual car.

Junkyard in Vegas + Russian sales team that avoids car history = Recipe for a successful transaction! I am ready to jump on this deal, where do I wire money?

It is not reflected on the Carfax, and it is not being disclosed to potential buyers. I've spoken with one of those buyers in relation to my own GT3 for sale, and I expect he will be posting his own account soon. I just wanted to get this information into the community ASAP. Watch out. Due one's diligence. I have no independent knowledge of this connection between the damage and this car. Just suggesting a very detailed PPI on this one! If true, this is one of the worst "stories" I've come across.
That's some great detective work! Thanks for posting your findings. There can't be too many GT3s with the same trim and options in Vegas so it's a near certainty this is the same car. Hope prospective buyers invest the time to at least due minimal DD and locate this thread and the car's true history.

We don't know that they have the same options - the only thing we know from that thread is that it's a white car with steel brakes. There are a lot of GT3s in Vegas. If we had interior shots of the wrecked car I could likely figure it out, but my conversations so far with a couple of the local shops and the previous owner of the car have not yielded anything conclusive. *edit...PO says that wasn't his car.

I could've sworn I saw a picture of the interior in the other thread showing the same trim but I scanned that thread in a hurry and may have confused it with the other picture showing that detail van. Thanks for pointing this out. So the mystery remains.

LOL. Unless there was a cars and coffee on the racetrack and we qualify that as tracking, then I highly doubt it.
