Beginning to look like the .1 RS's are moving ahead of the .2 RS's
4K Miles Pumpkin sold for $220K )all in) on BaT 2 weeks ago
4K miles .2 RS sold for $181K (all in) on RM today. Looks like a great deal for the buyer
Clearly this assumes both cars are equally clean, straight and desirable to the same market of like minded buyers

Realistically what should WP0AC2A94AS783639 go for? If I wanted a solid starting point for a 4.0 rebuild and am just trying to avoid a grenaded engine or serious damage what does the floor look like in the .2 RS market?
I’m sure this is a loaded question with layers of ifs and buts, but I’m curious.

I went through all the photos and docs on the RM car, my conclusion was that car is pretty rough for a 3k mile example, and the paint reading was surprisingly thick for " original paint" car. I can see a lot of people would have turned away from it after doing their researches.

Agreed! I registered to bid and fully intended to try to snag this one, in till they posted the inspection pictures. WOW, it was in worse for wear shape for such a low mileage car. Once it went over 150 (before fee's) I was out. Someone really enjoyed this car very care free for a short driving period. I hope the new owner enjoys the heck out of it. With a little hard work they could have this thing in great shape again.

A friend of mine who isn't very active online has decided to get rid of his orange 2008 GT3RS. Car looks new- has 8,903 miles on it. I believe he is the second owner and has owned it longer than I've owned mine (7 years). Car is in Nashville, TN. He wants $175k after seeing the last BaT pumpkin go for that price last month. If anyone is seriously interested feel free to e-mail me at m3brendan@yahoo.com and I can connect you.
He also has a green one with similar miles. It was originally delivered in Mexico and came with a plastic back window. I think he bought it a few years ago at the height of the market and wasn't in the $200ks for it.
Thanks!
