I’ve been told by a former shop manager at body motion (premier 911 race shop), that the .2s are not afflicted by the coolant line issues.

he did however say that the clutch life is only 30-50k depending on driving style, obviously.

As far as I know, every single street licensed Mezger powered water cooled 911 had the coolant line issues (996.1 GT3, 996.2TT, 996.2 GT3, 996.2 GT3 RS, 996.2 GT2, 997.1TT, 997.1 GT2, 997.2 GT3RS, 997.2 GT3RS 4.0, 997.2 GT2).

I cannot speak for Cup and other race variants though, meaning I'm completely unaware of them being affected by the rubber/epoxy lines.

Agree 100%. I personally watched a .2RS blow a coolant line fitting right before my eyes as we were ripping through a North Carolina mountain road. Fortunately I radioed the owner in time and told him to pull over immediately before he or I went slipping and sliding off the side of the mountain.
Rest assured, they suffer from this

Ok fair enough. I have no personal experience...just going by a trusted source who has more experience than me.

Having a Coolant Line blow on a Mountain Road is definitely pucker factor

Ahhhh! Well, congratulations to you, lol. I thought it was perfect. Maybe you can share a few pictures/adventures for those of us who have to temporarily live vicariously through other GT3s.

Pretty certain the race cars are welded.
