there's nothing original in saying prices will come down. You say it long enough, eventually you're bound to be right.
I don't plan to sell the cars that I currently have, so definitely don't mind if the market corrects itself. It would be nice to get a couple more air-cooled examples, as those have been particularly juiced for some time, I thought.

My neighbor has a black 2007 GT3 that he wants to let go of. I believe he is the first owner. 7k miles. A few track days many years ago, but the car hasn't been used much in the last few years as he has several cars and a new track car. Great condition and should check out with no issues. He is looking for $95k. I've asked him to send me some pics and I'll post them when I get them. Figured someone might be looking for a nice car that hasn't hit the market.

I have a 17k mile example I would t let go for less than 100. It's too good.

Speaking of air cooled prices, what would you prefer? A 60-100k mile "rsa" or a low mile 997.1 gt3? One of those costs a lot more than the other currently. Watch out.

Big difference between now and last Aug is the US dollar is a lot stronger (look how much the CAD and GBP has fallen) plus I keep hearing that it's getting harder and more expensive to get money out of China. That's taken a lot of foreign buyers out of the market. Glad I'm one of those idiots that buys cars to drive.

both. apples and oranges. but RSA NOT worth the premium from a drive-perspective. manual steering sucks in a track car and most have sunroofs.

^^^ even though I have an RSA, I can't agree more. Recent trades have been silly...but good thing I bought mine when it was cheap. I think a lot of air-cooled cars will take a dive in value soon, but frankly, I don't see the same thing happening with the 997 RS cars.

Agreed some value to rsa for sure but not the huge premium being asked these days. Less weight is good but should have added more power as well. Have manual rack from rsa in mine and it's great on the street but a bear on the track.

so looks like there's one that popped up i was always checking for sub 80k 997.1 but $75k for a 65k miles PCCBs and sport seats? does that seem in line? car is in bay area

Google the vin, most of the gt3 rs have been tracked so many have been put back to stock. Nice one at Byers, Canadian but good dme, 13k miles and price $169k. But in a declining market, not want to buy too soon

It might be members old car from here. Had the engine replaced at some point. Also had a bunch pf GMG parts on it before not sure if they are still there on tbe car.
