The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
I think it's stock wing with a CF blade. It does look funny from some angles though.
Comparison to a stock wing with CF blade. The first pair of pics make it look like the wing isn't OEM. The second pair of pics makes it look like both are OEM. Hard to tell but I'm going with OEM.

Bring a Trailer raised their buyer's fee cap to $7,500 from $5,000, now any car selling for $150,000 or more will tack on another $7,500! Oof

Yea, that's pretty crazy to raise their auction price by 50%. Wonder if their percentage was always 5% and that remains unchanged or did that increase also?

They figured anyone paying more than $100k for a car won't be dissuaded by an additional $1 to $2500 in fees. For a $200K car, thats still only a 3.75% buyers premium. Not saying I support the change, but from a business standpoint, it makes perfect sense. They will not lose bidders, worst case the bids are slightly lower, and that comes out of the seller's pocket, not BaTs.

The high end cars are a gold mine for impressions and engagement, it’s not uncommon to get 300-500k views, almost 10x the average car. With the 1.4b in sales last year they prob gross what $40-50m in fees, then add on another $20m in pure margin ad revenue at 600m unique visits?
I think they still have a ways to go attracting the high end though, Sothebys was about $1b in sales last year at double those fees…

Surprised to see this one still listed for sale. Seems like a decent deal relative to recent sales.

965-mile white RS 4.0. PCCB’s and adaptive sport seats. Asking $795k. Was sold on BaT in July 2022 for $706k. Was part of Jan Koum's collection and sold it in 2019 with 160 miles on it.
Weird it reads exactly the same mileage as it did on the BaT auction, but the trip odometer at the time read 0 miles and now reads 1.2 miles. Also weird the original person who ordered it didn’t opt for full leather which was free on the 4.0. You could say it’s an RS and shouldn’t be clad with leather like a luxury car, but then they opted for the leather rear center console which cost extra. Also has adaptive sport seats which for me personally would be a deal breaker.
