Speed yellow premium, and the presentation was truly excellent. No major unknowns or question marks on condition / history.

Thought it would have brought a higher number for such example.

Color me red. Honestly these are some crazy numbers in my opinion, but what do I know. I guess if you look at a 997.1Rs and it's 100k above this, then this will seem like a bargain. I'm so out of touch. Ok crawling back into my hole. See ya next season.

I don’t think you’re out of touch, Ed. I think 140-170 is the market on a .1, and all the usual factors can swing it one way or the other. I think single owner car with impeccable history, PCCB, and a special color brings all the money. Comparable to a much lower mileage car in less appealing color.
And you missed your calling in forensics of some sort …

Were you guys thinking that it was the 22,000 miles as the reason why you projected less than $160k? ... 22k miles seems just about right to me (or even slightly low for a .1)

Two other .1 nb's that sold in 2024. Both collector miles. That yellow seller got paid today. I think if it was an immaculate collector grade car then maybe but I'm seeing few things that is telling me that this car saw a nice amount of track time. Last tracked in 2008? Hmmm. I'll post up what I see after dinner.

Largely color and one owner premium I think. White was (by far) the most common color on .1 and .2 narrow bodies, though it does look really nice. Not many clean speed yellow cars out there, especially with full leather, no wart and PCCBs.

So I got really close to buying this car when it was listed on the PCA Mart back last fall from a private seller in Florida when it was listed for $139,500. I decided not to after an (expensive but worth it) PPI showed some really wide variety of paintwork done on the car. Included paint lines on drivers side door jam, drivers side rear quarter was high (as helpfully mentioned by current seller) including up to 22.9 in some places (indicating filler), drivers side door was a bit high (close to 8, maybe from blending) esp. compared to passenger door at below 4, passenger front fender varied from 5.3 to 9.5 and headlight fit oddly with A pillar gap really tight, the passenger side had overspray on plastic pans below the door, etc., front brake calipers repainted but rears in rough shape.
Mechanically the PPI inspector only was able to drive it for about a mile, but no reason to believe it is not a great driver.
It previously traded hands via PCA mart in November of 2022, with asking at $124,500.
It is nice to see it presented so well by the current selling dealer, they have done a good job bringing it up to looking as good as it deserves to. I am confident this will be a great GT3 for its next owner, especially if they aren't sweating some paintwork and are ready to just drive it!
I went as far as tracking down a YouTube video from the owner who bought it from BAT originally, who sold it to the seller I was talking with –

Several things I noticed on the yellow one that nobody asked questions about is the amount of road rash on a 22k mile example, with little DE track time. I'm also calling BS onto 800 full Detail job performed on March 2024. If it was detailed, they got ripped off.
The emblem looks to have seen better days. Pretty nasty gouge in addition to the rest of the emblem looking worked.
Zoom in on these next few shots and tell me it looks like someone PPF'd over a peppered bumper.
For 22k miles, that's a lot of rash. They even ppf'd over it in the upper area of this picture.
Looks like the steering wheel was replaced. Not a GT3 wheel.
Driver's seat looks to have been in storage or something stored on top of it for a while.
Endless RF650 for a street car?
