Someone should drive it to 997 miles (gasp! 32 miles! Think of the depreciation!!!) and then weld everything solid so the car can't move as clearly no one is interested in actually driving the thing.

Speaking of sad and pathetic ways to keep the mileage as low as possible move it around on dollies. Know there are some Ford GT owners that have done that in order to keep the mileage as low as possible. These examples are 2005-2006 examples still with single digit mileage on the odometer. Heard of a 993 Turbo with 99 miles on the odometer with a license plate that read “99MILES”. 🤦🏼‍♂️

previous owner discussed it above. Sounds like it’s a bit of a mess, has had lots of paint etc

I think you must be referring to a different car. This 8k mile car did not have any paint work.

Weird it reads exactly the same mileage as it did on the BaT auction, but the trip odometer at the time read 0 miles and now reads 1.2 miles. Also weird the original person who ordered it didn’t opt for full leather which was free on the 4.0. You could say it’s an RS and shouldn’t be clad with leather like a luxury car, but then they opted for the leather rear center console which cost extra. Also has adaptive sport seats which for me personally would be a deal breaker.

I feel ya. I was in law school when 997.1RS' were trading in in the 90-100k USD bracket. I figured I'd be able to get one someday. Now the cheapest one I see here in Canada is $250k CAD. Not happening.

I was getting my MBA then and I called a friend who just got a 991.2 GT3 and told him I wanted a 997.1 after I found a good job and saved up a bit after school and by the time I got around to being able to, they've essentially doubled, hurts but I always felt like they were great value at 90-100K so it makes sense they've risen so much. I was just late lol
