im curious how much they want for the folding seats. I’ve been entertaining a pair since those 10k price days are over.

I love the folding buckets and have spent multiple road trips in them. My wife and I once spent an 18 hour day in them. Overall I find them pretty comfortable. Much more so than the newer fixed buckets.

Can confirm, we did 13 hours in them in one day and didn’t have the least bit of soreness or discomfort throughout. I find them to be more comfortable than the 14 ways I had on my 991, actually.

In hindsight, there must have been a reason I just days before had passed on another gt3, and missed one other. This car checks all my boxes. That Mezger sound is unlike anything I've ever been behind the wheel (or between my legs) of. I bought it to drive it. It'll probably never be as pristine as it is now, though I'm real picky. No garage queen here. I'd never sat in (much less driven) a gt3, but knew this was it for me, and have been following that 997 market for years. Couldn't be happier.

Congrats! Beautiful, enjoy in great health with your son!

I had the buckets in my .1 GT3 and loved them. Installed the sofa's before the sale of the car and drove the car with the sofa's and thought, for street driving the sofa's rule the day. They are so comfortable and supportive for street and mild canyon driving.

Good luck getting that for that car. It's peppered. But if they do get it, then I'll sell mine for that price in a heartbeat.

yes @mikes70 ! Our stories to get to these cars seem very similar and you were about a week ahead of me, though you had a much longer road trip back home. Love the cobalt blue. I'm also in the East Bay. Sure we'll cross paths in the future!

Agree. Best deals at the moment: the black one I traded in to P.South Orlando and the orange one at zweck. 229 and 239 list prices respectively, both with low 2*k miles.

if you want to offload your GT3 to a fellow rennlister (non dealer) for personal enjoyment, LMK! I love that spec.

Meant to quote @hamhands about his cobalt .1 as he contemplates a .1 RS

IF I decided to let it go I would warn you it wouldn't be cheap, but would obviously prefer it going to a RL'er over a dealer!

I'll keep on lurking this forum, if yours comes up and the stars align, it would be great to be considered

I know that one at Zweck has some pretty shoddy touch paint work on the rear hips. It's so bad, it would have to be removed and retouched up. Looks like the previous owner, Mark Starr, either did it himself or had someone do it. Whatever the case was, it appeared that someone purchased the tiny touch up paint bottle from Porsche and used the brush to apply it. If you're gonna touch up your paint you have to use one of these.
