Alright guys,
I locked up the '07 gt3 from Auto Kennel two hours after it went live on their website 11/10. It's been a long, sleepless last week. One of my sons and I drove up to the Bay on Hwy 1 yesterday. Over the moon at finally, after being a 40-year motorsport enthusiast, reaching my endgame car. Paul at Auto Kennel was absolutely the best. Huge thanks to K @Upscale Audio and D @shrp , you guys helped timing to help make this dream come true. I've been primarily a lurker here for the last decade in this priceless community, finding countless useful bits for my 996.2 c2. In hindsight, there must have been a reason I just days before had passed on another gt3, and missed one other. This car checks all my boxes. That Mezger sound is unlike anything I've ever been behind the wheel (or between my legs) of. I bought it to drive it. It'll probably never be as pristine as it is now, though I'm real picky. No garage queen here. I'd never sat in (much less driven) a gt3, but knew this was it for me, and have been following that 997 market for years. Couldn't be happier.

You guys are a bit harsh 
mnawa did the same thing with a 997 turbo that someone posted in the 997 turbo forum. It’s always the same MO … act all enthusiastic about a car/model, nice folks post up good cars or deals, the fake enthusiast jumps on it first, then flips it shortly after.
There’s a bunch of speculators crawling all over rennlist … that’s the world we live in now unfortunately. Lots of people see these cars as nothing more than opportunities to make a quick buck.
for those genuinely interested, you need to act quickly and secure the goods if you want to have a shot.
mnawa did the same thing with a 997 turbo that someone posted in the 997 turbo forum. It’s always the same MO … act all enthusiastic about a car/model, nice folks post up good cars or deals, the fake enthusiast jumps on it first, then flips it shortly after.
There’s a bunch of speculators crawling all over rennlist … that’s the world we live in now unfortunately. Lots of people see these cars as nothing more than opportunities to make a quick buck.
for those genuinely interested, you need to act quickly and secure the goods if you want to have a shot.

I don't have a problem with Red9114me, unless he contacted Rennlist and had those threads removed. We've spoken online and he's actually a very nice person. If he flips cars, then so be it. Nothing wrong with that at all as buying and selling cars is a gamble some like to play. My only issue is with Rennlist and the deletion of some record keeping posts. We needed those posts to stay visible to be able to track that car. Now vanished from Ilko's amazing thread, that info will soon be forgotten.
Letter to Rennlist, put those posts back up. Don't do your members dirty.

Before anyone jumps the gun, and I'm not saying you're incorrect but, let me state that he was truly looking for an orange RS. He offered to buy mine so maybe his new orange car is a keeper for him. Had he asked to trade that white RS for my orange, I may have done it but I know that car had some restoration work done to it and my car is clean and still unrestored so it would have been tough decision. I don't hate my car, I just love the white ones.

I stated, "Had he asked to trade his white car for my orange car, it just might have happened". I would have liked that opportunity. I don't hate my orange car, I just love the white as I love to modify my cars and white is the easiest palette to work with. Can't do much with an orange car. I'm trying though.

edit: for transparency I purchased the car for $115,899, paid $2,000 for enclosed shipping, spent a few thousand getting it sorted and wound up selling it to San Francisco Sports Cars for $110,000.
