The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

lol - bidding on an auction with no intent to purchase again. Nicely done!
I will say that between you and porschejarod's (who is selling two (2) nearly identical cars as we speak) semi-shill bids, I'm surprised you weren't able to at least get it past $200k. Is the market turning on these rolling ETFs?

180 was a great price for a 11k mile black RS, just not high enough to make it work for the seller

double post I hate mobile sometimes
As expected the auction had a low showing reserve not met, but they listed Buy Now at $215k US. I don’t see how that isn’t a decent deal for 11k mile RS with clean carfax… pretty sure I’d be buying this if I was in the market, refinishing the wheels to OEM less than $500
Also it has dynamic engine mounts and it’s build sheet isn’t showing them, I wonder why… maybe my eyes playing tricks.

Patrick Dempsey’s former .1 RS up on BaT. The dealer that had this up for sale was asking $220k or something like that.

I was doing a O"Loréal job and Patrick saw my GT3 in the lot, hunted me down and we got to talking about cars and he was saying that his wife kept ripping the front lip off his RS and he finally just said F it, gonna leave it off the car. I'm guessing this was the car.

No paint work, clean DME, Full body PPF, new Michelin tires, fully serviced by the best and a Dundon D4 power package upgrade done recently by Repasi Motorwerks! If you may have serious interest in this GT3, feel free to PM me prior to discuss further.

Exactly, except I would have skipped the white touches on the interior.

Wow, I thought the Dempsey RS would have gone for more. Does the fact that it’s in Canada deter US market buyers, importation process being a hassle? And I guess ‘collectors’ think 37k miles is just too high?

it did go for more. The high bid didn’t win the auction but according to seller they made a deal with the high bidder after the auction for significantly more than the high bid.
