BaT car has full leather and a few other desirable bits, wouldn't exactly call it a stripper spec. Plus yeah, lower miles.

The car came standard with HIDs, stereo & A/C. Those options you list are items you can choose to replace/remove at no charge. If you look at the invoice/build sheet, the only item with a price on it were the floor mats and Porsche made you order them.

Regarding the asking price, considering there are practically none for sale anywhere, $280K is the right amount. Even the Monterey auctions didn't have a single one this year, which is a first I believe. Next year a bunch of people will be saying how they wish they bought one under $300K when they were available

I agree. I like both the 997.2 3.8 and the 991.2 4.0. The 4.0 is noticeably more powerful and a really fun engine. The sound is epic with a sharkwerks exhaust too.

agreed, this sounds delusional.

997 RS feels like a Cadillac compared to 991.2 gt3rs which I imagine is very similar to 4rs, and I dailied the 991.2 3rs for a few years.

I could easily daily a 997 RS, hell no I will never daily a new 3rs ever again. 997 RS is better because manual and its livable on the street

I would imagine a 4rs is as bad or worse than a 991.2 gt3rs as far as comfort goes, but admittedly have NOT driven one yet.

I have never driven or ridden in a 991.2 3RS. I will try to do it this weekend, back to back. However as total package, it is hard to imagine 997.2 3RS is an easier/better daily driver than 991.2 3RS.
Each new generation of cars are faster, softer, and more livable as a daily driver. I'd be interested in your feedback, if you can do the same, back to back in a 997 and 991 RS.

for the normal Porsches, I agree 1000%. They have gone from sports cars to GT cruisers, they're so soft and pudgey now.... BUT imo the RS's have gone from sports cars to more race cars

The 991.2 3rs is the stiffest and most rigid Porsche I have ever driven. It literally lapped the nurburgring faster than the CGT....They did not do this w/o compromising the day to day in it greatly lol

I personally think the 997 3rs is way better bc manual and smaller and it is more fun. 991.2 3rs feels way heavier (even though they're almost the same) because of all the grip and aero, feels much bigger obviously as well.

I could recalibrate with a 997 RS, it's been a few years. I'll see if there is one closeby I can check out

Looks like a clean car, zero options though. Haven't seen one like it in a very, very long time!

Wow this already sold. Anyone on here pick it up?

If this sold through Merit recently does anyone know what that price was? I'm not as eagle eyed as many of you (plus I don't have the history), but that actually seems like a nice car. PCCBs, white console and painted seat backs is a hot look IMO. No stupid colors on the instrument gauges. The belts match the brakes. Some alcantara wear on the wheel and shifter but who cares? I wonder what this will go for...

Edit: Looks like the listed price last year was 190k. I wonder what it went for or if it sold.

I was surprised by that comment also. Thinking that the rawest is the 996, followed by the 997 and then the newer cars have to ride smoother.
