The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
This should be a good driver for someone. I think the accident will hold it back from its potential, but it also shows a decent amount of wear. Here's what I noticed at first glance:
Cup front lip
Wheels repainted in black
Appears to have clear bra, but at the leading edge of the bumper where the lip meets the film, I notice a lot of chipping, and some chipping in other spots
Left side of rear bumper has a crack or some paint chipping off of it, looks like it scraped on something, maybe coming out of a driveway
Lug bolts aren't the factory "GT" specific ones
Discoloration/chipping of the air inlets on rear lid
Interior appears in good condition with some scratching on the backs of the seats from the roll bar
Rennline track mats, aftermarket pedals
Not the correct GT3 shifter, while it's alcantara, it doesn't have the correct Volcano finish on the shift **** pattern
Pretty sure that center console has been refinished in some way. The factory finish doesn't look like that. This is to be expected given the factory, soft touch finish, tends to peel/scratch easily
BMC air filter (which is quite dirty)
Missing various fasteners in the front truck, not really sure how those go missing and why someone didn't replace them, that's super easy and cheap to fix
Side muffler delete
Front tub has definitely seen some scrapes
My post is simply to point out the things I'm noticing. I don't think most of these things are a big issue, but random things to factor into your price if you want to buy and then improve.
Good luck bidding everyone!

Agreed. I don’t understand why the delta keeps increasing between the base and the RS. Either the RS is completely overpriced or the base is now the greatest value in the 911 market.

I remember it being flipped thru West Coast Exotics several months ago, real quick sale.

IIRC this was purchased by somebody who posted in this thread a few months back.

Not sure if this car is still available.Saw it last week, but forgot to post it. White/gold .2 RS that Merit Partners had earlier in the year, but now it’s with this seller in Canada. Also Isringhausen had it back in 2018.

This seller of the white 7.2 3RS is local to me here in Vancouver. He's got a reputation for bringing in particularly nice cars. Plenty of RUFs, and various RS models (water and aircooled) seem to frequently be on offer. Wonder what it's going for; 7.2 3RS's are fairly uncommon, even in Vancouver.
