I'm sure most have seen the Euro 997 GT3 seats available on BAT. While it's not a car, I figure this is probably the best place to share for those that haven't seen them. I do wonder if they've been reupholstered as I've never seen them with yellow stitching, although maybe that was an option and I've also never seen the leather/alcantara version without the crest in headrest, although again I'm sure I just haven't seen every variant. The perlon version didn't have the crest in headrest. The back of the headrest also seems to have some wrinkling in them that I haven't seen in others

ya I wish they had the original leather for a stencil, I’d have someone good redo them w/out yellow.

Yea I guess I also don't know what I don''t know. If they are substantially better support and more comfortable than folding LWBS I'd prob pick them up and reupholster... but since I have no complaints w/my current buckets it would mostly be a vanity move... which means the stitching needs to be white and I'd have to code out my airbag? There really is a big different in how 'tight' the leather is and how clean the stitching is on originals vs these.

Thanks for the color info, that is very helpful and good to know. I have reached out to Northwest European on the car you mentioned.

Northwest European says they have a blue/red car with 3k miles available. I don’t have any details on it and no official listing on their site so you’ll have to inquire with them for more details. BTW finding a blue/red car is much harder than a gray/red as there are 9 times as many of these (238 vs 26) and they the most “common” ones.

Is this breakdown from Porsche? If so, I have 1/3 Canadian spec white/white gold, hard to believe as I've seen 2 different ones (albeit could be imported) locally.

Spoke with the sales manager...sounds like a great driver...no track time. This was what had me interested: Haydon Bros in Anaheim, California performed an engine out service where the rear main seal, clutch disc, flywheel bolt, crank seal, throttle seal, coolant pipes, spark plugs, rear deck lid shock, oil filter, and all fluids were replaced.
No wart.
