I sold my 2009 C4S manual transmission with 43,000 miles in arctic silver to a local guy on CL for $45,000 two years ago.

I just didn't know any better...

The buyer was complaining about the price too.

I should have charged at least 50K for it but it was my first Porsche and I didn't realize they sold above blue book at the time. I also picked it up for $38,000 from a wealthy guy in Portland on CL and he needed it gone in two days. So I flew out and bought it sight unseen and drove it back to Colorado.

Maybe this guy just wanted it gone ASAP?

Just like scalpers at a sporting event, dealers try to buy up properly priced inventory so they end up being able to control the market. This one had 2 issues, an AC leak that the mechanics could not find and that MAY be behind the dash, and an issue with instability when cornering, due to after market lowering. Mechanics at Hendrick's test drove and came to the recommendation of reversing the modification.

Buyer beware.

Since this was my 997.2 I'd be happy to refute your assessment. It did have a very minor coolant leak. It was Hendricks recommendation not to repair as it was much cheaper to recharge the AC with coolant every 3.5 years as that was the rate of the leak. The coolant was recharged in May. Cornering was never an issue reported by me or any of the techs who worked on or drove the car. If it had been it would have been addressed by me immediately. ALL maintenance on this car was performed at Hendricks by porsche certified technicians as scheduled. When the factory warranty expired I purchased an extended warranty and never needed it for anything. Anyone who purchases this car will be buying a rock solid C4S though I wouldn't pay $63,000. I sold it to the Mercedes dealership in early June. I can't speak to anything after that date.

And at a sketchy dealership!!!! I would never do business with Grand Prix.

They have a crazy amount of 911s, being in Portland, which is not a 911 town. Probably 3x as many as the Porsche dealership. I don't know what is going on there; is this some sort of money laundering operation? They just seem to stockpile cars and hold them forever.

I don't think that price is totally out of line. My friend sold his 20,000 mile 09 C2S manual last winter for 52k here in Portland: sold in about a week. I was interested as it was a nice car (sport pasm) but didn't need another at the time.

I refute. Clearly (as reported in the Hendricks database) in December of 2015 and then may of 2016 issues of cornering stability and of improper lowering of the vehicle were identified and solutions were quoted. I did not find invoices after May of 2016 that indicates that the repairs/ modifications suggested by Hendricks were done. Further, there are issues with toe and camber that can not be addressed(again pulled From the Hendrix's database) Because of the way the car is currently set up
