The car I mentioned above is now posted here F/S. I would want a thorough PPI done including a borescope and up to date oil analysis, based on the recent missed-shift history; he only had it for a couple thousand miles but managed to potentially money shift it in that short time period. It is probably OK, but at the minimum, I would want all of the info I could get on the car, from a 1st-rate shop, to make sure it wasn't ridden hard and put away wet.

The Turbo style spoiler looks awful on that car, and I don't like the all-black aftermarket wheels. The mods cheapen the car, and make me wonder how the car was driven. If that car were stock, in that color, it would be a must-have for me! Stunning color, and a 6-speed!

Yeah. Put me down for a Getty Ducktail if anything, and sport classic or the right BBS classic wheels. The ones on the car are cheapos

I love anything along the lines of the Sport Classic look

Agree, a Getty ducktail and the sport classic wheels would look incredible. I still prefer buying stock, but those mods would at least look consistent and hot!

The nice thing about buying stock is that you can always go back to stock when you sell, and get 50% of your purchase price on the mods back, if not more. If you bought this car, you could sell the spoiler, but then would have to hunt down an OEM decklid and get it painted. Selling those cheap wheels won't cover the cost of OEM or nice aftermarket wheels. It will cost $ to get it back to stock; maybe $3k, maybe more. it is priced like a pristine one-owner GTS, but with the DME issue and questionable mods, the person paying $79k won't be myself.

I would love to own a GTS and set it up as a sport classic look, but yeah, I would want to keep the OEM parts in case the next guy/gal wants it stock again. I bought a C4 and the original owner was nice enough to give me all of the stock stuff, as he had several mods installed. I wouldn't have been able to sell the car for what I sold it for with those mods, but it went for full asking price once stock, and I was able to net an extra $2500 on the mods as well.

Nice price on a rare GTS 4 with a unusual spec. Great dealership.

On these GT3s and 2s, mileage is a huge factor in used pricing - tracked or not.

Would this be considered on the high end price-wise? I really havn't been in the market for one so I don't know. What a hot car though with no mileage!

That would defeat the purpose, no?

I guess we come here to look at deals found by fellow enthusiasts...
