Hi there,

I'm new to the forum and also looking to get in my first 911! Thank you to all of you for amazing contribution and knowledge - it blows me away.

I'm really set on finding a 997.2 C4S - dream color meteor grey with a lighter interior if possible, PDK and as loaded as possible or within reason.

I'm based in Quebec, Canada and have found this one - pretty much perfect options for me but wanted to know if this example has too many Kms so to speak - so long as a PPI or inspection checks out:

113,696 kms (70,647 miles) for $62,900 CAD / $48,000 USD - https://www.dgautoclub.com/vehicles/...-carrera-4s-2/

I was looking for an example with under 100KMS but they usually command a potential $10k CAD extra and have fewer options or not the options I'm looking for.

What do you think?

Thank you

I think the general consensus here is that overall condition (both cosmetically and mechanically) and maintenance history trumps mileage, within reason.

It sounds like you've already learned that lower mileage cars command a premium, but if you find one that you like at the right price with slightly higher miles, I'd say go for it.

The one you posted looks really nice. The natural brown leather isn't something you see often, especially with the grey/silver cars. Plus, the extended leather, sport chrono, and sport seats are a bonus. Seems nicely optioned and looks clean.

I don't know much about the Canadian market for these cars, but it sounds like you've done your homework. I'd say check this car out and if you're serious about it, have a thorough PPI completed to ensure it is mechanically sound.

Good luck!

Nice car.

Just wondering why this shows as a 3.8L with 380HP, not 385HP?

My 2009 T4S is 3.8L, 385HP.

This was a good car for the money. My friend drove it yesterday, said it was enthusiast owned, super clean. She contacted him an hour later to buy it and said he had an above asking-price offer, after being non-committal on the test drive. Talk about the perfect DD if it suits your needs! Not too much money tied up in it, who cares about the carfax ding as the price is right.

I got the report of the accident from seller. The car had larger job done. Nothing major accident I think but still wasn't just a bumper repaint. SY 997.2 are rare and hard to find. Definitely a great DD for someone

Full leather and PCCBs on a base Carrera. I bet you won't find many builds like that.

I've been looking for a Speed Yellow Manual. Would you be able to PM me the accident report? I wonder if it's actually sold. It's still listed.

My friend saw the car and loved it, but when she called back an hour later to get the deposit started, he said he had already accepted an above-asking price offer. Maybe you could be 2nd in line if it falls through?

It was a bumper issue, not a bad accident. I wouldn't shy away from it if the PPI checks out. That is a ton of car for the money

Saw this guy on cars. Anyone know the car, dev was enthusiast owned. Looks like it's been sent around a few dealers. And now it this high end wholesale style dealer. Clearly needs a few things, tires being the big item.

That being said in the Nashville area who is the go to PPI shop if I wanted to take a look at this thing?
