Or perhaps people who buy manuals really like them and have a higher rate of long term ownership, hence less supply when shopping for one.

A 2007 coupe with 38k miles sold local to me for $39,000 a couple of months ago. A cab with more miles shouldn't be more expensive. You could get a similar manual 2009 C2S cab for mid 40's in that mileage (one just sold at a Porsche dealer in Alabama the other day, nice car in Amaranth Red). Cabs in the 997 generation just don't carry the manual premium like coupes do.

Like all those types of places, they sell cars bought at auctions. And the vast majority of cars go to auctions because the dealer taking in the trade doesn't want to put it on their lot due to something being wrong with the car. Not always, but usually.

My mindset is either buy private or buy from the dealer of the manufacturer you're buying. A used Porsche on a Porsche dealer's lot will be more expensive vs a GrandPrix type place, but it's probably worth the money.

Almost identical price, I've seen 2 options I'm interested in.

1. 09 Cab, S, PDK 70K miles

2. 09 Coupe Base PDK 40K miles

Thoughts on relative value between the two?

Buyers who want coupes typically wont even consider cabs... For me #2 would be the easy and obvious choice between the 2.

An S should be about $10k more but mileage is somewhere between $2500-3000 per 10k miles over. Coupes are generally more than cabs but haven’t seen a consistent price difference... sometimes huge, sometimes none.

Seems like they are comparatively fairly priced. For me, it’s based on whether you want a drop top or def not and whether you plan on driving and keeping it for awhile or selling it soon. I was a def not person so I’d go with coupe but if it was coupe vs coupe, I’d take an S with more miles.

Thoughts on this 2010 C2?

https://www.grandprimotors.com/used/...612bdbc088.htm

It has very few options, but is a MT, which is nice. The CARFAX (https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...AA2A94AS706534) indicates that it was well taken care of through 2015, but then there is nothing on the CARFAX till it was imported from Germany. Grand Prix claims that there was only one owner (not two as indicated in the CARFAX) and that they were in military and took the car overseas.

Even if there were 2 owners, that wouldn't matter much. Price point is fair considering a little bit lower on the mileage side and the "upcharge" to find a MT vs. PDK. I say go take it for a test drive and see if they have more extensive service records while in Germany but you'd want to get a PPI done anyway if you're serious.

Agreed. My cayenne has 2 tone so it isn’t all beige.
I love the blue exterior on the 911s

Thanks. I would certainly do a PPI, especially given the discrepancy in the CARFAX.

I'd prefer black, but this is a seller's market.
