I also wouldn't assume whatever is wrong with the nav system can be fixed buy purchasing a $400 Chinese replacement screen off ebay. Does the screen work but have dead pixels or is cracked? If the entire system is offline, it could be anything really.

The exterior and interior looks fantastic! No dents or scratch except 1 small paint chip on the hood, has a clear bra in the front. The interior has no scratch or scuff and the 2 climate control buttons still look new. Seats doesn't look like it has been worn at all. I was a bit disappointed with it being a tiptronic with very little option but the fact it is a C4 with the wide body made me go test drive this car. I really don't care for the all wheel drive since I live in Texas but I can always do a rear wheel drive only conversion down the road. Regarding the tiptronic of course I would prefer a 6sp manual but honestly I can live with a tip. It's going to be my daily driver and the traffic here is horrific. The test drive was actually fun down shifting with the buttons. This also gives me an excuse for the wife so she can drive it. I'm going to attempt to go down $31K - 32K and see what he says. Thank you for your input.

My primary advice is don't buy a tip unless you really want a tip... For many, it simply will not scratch the itch. If you DO want a tip, the world is your oyster as there are far more to pick from, and at much better prices. So pick a great one!

The paint looks like it needs a heavy correction and also some touchups on the front lip but otherwise this looks really clean from the pics. Toss on that Carmax warranty and you've got a ringer here.
Registration was Vail, CO the past 6 years so likely winter driven but who really cares.

Full leather C4S, OEM aerokit, Bose, and sports chrono, memory seats....looks like a winner to me. As said Carmax does not do any paint correction or polish. When I bought mine from them it was all swirled up and had some scratchers, a hand polish and then a polish with a Griots orbital buffer and then wax, it came out great. This one won't last long. It needs a new lower lip for the aerokit, but thats not too expensive, and they may replace it for you. Carmax has got smart and been raising their prices on 911s recently.

If it was built that way with the aerokit, it should show up on the build sheet. Perhaps it was added later. That makes things a bit murky. might need a on-site inspection to see if its got OEM part numbers on it.

Don't know how to link so I am just going to tell. There is a 2012 997.2 C4S , MT, White cabriolet for sale at Porsche of Princeton NJ . Has only 28K miles and looks very clean. Nicely optioned. Price I'm not so sure if it's good or high. $69,900. Everyone says manual trans is hard to com by so here it is.

But honestly I have very low expectations on this one. Some CarMax Porsches I've seen really look beat to crap in person, and I have a strong suspicion this is going to be one of them.
Also, definitely not a factory aerokit. Actual OEM part? Don't know...
I'm really not all that interested in it... Been looking more for a 2007-2008 Turbo. If anyone else is particularly interested, PM me and I'll let you know how it checks out.

What do you guys think of this one?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-Porsch...-/401482327715
seems reasonable to me for a Black/Black Carrera S with PCCB's and Full Leather. Anything stand out as a bad buy? I dont mind the higher mileage.

I'm going to try and stop by this Carmax later today and put eyes on this car, drive it if it looks semi-decent.
