I tend to agree with you but I don't think the difference is as perceptible as many make it out to be. Those two pictures were taken with very different camera angles so the 4S is overemphasized. If you compare a C2 vs a C4 from the same angle, the difference is much harder to notice. Good example below. Don't get me wrong, wide hips are always preferred, just not sure it's worth the trade off for AWD. This is why the C2 GTS is the best of both worlds.

The wide body is noticeable in-person. Wide body makes the 911 looks lower too (meaner), although it is not. And wide body has wider tires in the back.

Black on black Turbo S. Center lock wheels. PDK. Tuned at 303. Tires have 20K on them. Carbon paddles, for next service: carbon brake pad set for when you need them, oil filter, new mats, old mats, torque wrench needed to take off centerllocks, and a Porsche Racing hat. *♂️

It's a REALLY nice car. I drive it daily (10 miles) and get compliments everywhere. I've owned it for a year and haven't had any problems with it. It's simply the MOST amazing car I've ever driven. This one is special.t
That's less than most 997 GTS cars out there.

This car seems too cheap. The badge looks off on the rear. Anyone reach out to the seller?

Would like to hear more about these.

That Turbo S https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/...708951612.html someone posted. Maybe the price is lower because of the high/higher mileage? I would love to own a Turbo S. I heard that the maintenance cost on the Turbo is much higher?

And this low mileage 4S with PDK in the Marketplace? Only 23k mi with warranty. And those carbon fiber (GT3?) seats...

https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...ion-pdk-3.html

Very tempting. Please continue to share if you see something similar. I am looking for a wide body 997.2 with PDK.

The maintenance will be higher- esp if you need new brake rotors!

If only it was a coupe. Convertible lovers are so lucky in this market.

Funny how convertibles cost more new but are valued less at resale. Is that strictly a Porsche thing?

You're absolutely right about the cab's value when new and used. It's not strictly Porsche for me, I have a skin condition that can't be in direct sun light for a period of time. I guess it's called "old" lol
