True Frame scares me more than the Car Fax. That car would have to be inspected carefully. My wife is in the high end and exotic industry and I have close friends that have dealerships in high end and exotic industry. True Frame will just add another blemish to the Car Fax. None of them use True Frame or value anything about what they say. Pull new Car Fax and look.

The dealership told me they would have had to put 8K into it to get it certified. So it was sell as is for about 50 or pay 58 for certification....

very good information to know. I just left the dealership and looked at it on the lot even though they were closed. The front right fender has obviously been replaced or painted because the original clear bra was still on the hood and the left front fender but not the front bumper or the passenger side front fender.

The wheels look like they are the original wheels so I don’t think they were replaced.
both tires on the passenger side or 2016 tires and the ones on the driver side or 2015 tires so they may have replaced the tires during the accident.

if this car could be bought somewhere near 50 I think it still might be a very good purchase. My only problem is that it’s not sober and that’s really the color I like.

The red and black with all of the interior special pieces do look very good though.

Are you buying this vehicle to own it for a long time? If you are, it could be a steal at this price. I’m sure you’ll do your due diligence.

That will probably be determined after my test drive and if I truly love the car.
it would be a risk either way because I’ve always been the type of person to get bored with cars easily but if it’s something I love I have kept cars as long as almost 10 years before.

I do like the fact that it’s a 2012 and is newer than most cars I was looking at. I will only know if it’s fast enough after I drive it. I have been wanting a turbo and I am used to vehicles that have a good bit of power. 408 hp sounds nice but I won’t know it until I drive.

how long would I have to keep this car given that I will not drive that many miles, for the accident to be less of an issue if I decided to resell in a few years?

If it’s properly sorted and the work was done correctly that’s a huge help.

If you bought it and drove the car for 5 years, the next buyer will have a lot more reassurance than a 2 year own-and-flip situation.

I think resale will be problematic either way.

If you do buy it and decide to sell later, keep me in mind. If this car was available in about 2-3 years from now, I would have bought it last month!

Very tough call. I guess I'll just have to go see it / drive it and see if it calls to me. Then make a decision.

Thanks for all the help folks! Sorry to have eat up so much room / time on this one car. I guess I just find it an interesting car and poss. purchase since I've been searching for a car / deal for so long.

This may work out. Of course things on both sides can change in 2-3 years. But nice of you to think of it like this.

I'll keep you posted on what I think of it when I have time to go drive it.

Why oh why not get sports chrono in red . . . it ain't that much more and now it just sticks out or makes the gauges look aftermarket.

That is a steal for a starter 911 daily. Sell those buckets, buy the adaptive sport seats and you have a nice car for $38,000.

Why on God's Earth did Porsche put sport buckets in the launch 997.2 C4S yet leave out the PDLS?

This seems like a screaming deal...if it's real and non-salvage. I left word for more details but no word back yet.

Has almost no car info, suspicious. Although I'd legit that's the deal of the year for sure!
