I wouldn’t be worried about scuffing up the leather on my side but more so the passenger side with my wife’s heels. Lol. Probably better for me to stick with the plastic.

I went the CF route - super durable and goes with the rest of the CF trim I have, though leather is a bit warmer look. For a performance focused sports car, I like the carbon as it breaks up the monotone color interior with some different textures and patterns.

The seller that I purchased them from (in Latvia) is a dismantler. He doesn't actually fabricate the items. They are removed from other cars that he has had access to.

The door sill units that I purchased appeared to be 100% new however.
