Finished stitching this steering wheel. Turned out 95%.. there are some unseen spots that are not perfect. However.. 90 bucks and 2 hours work. Well worth it.

Factory short throw shifter and new cables after I sheared one earlier this week. Also finally ripped out the last of the wiring for the XM radio - genius shop decided to power it by tapping into the OBD wiring.

These days, anything that keeps the news out is money well spent LOL

Replaced my weathered and worn out windshield cowl. Looks great. Quite the nice piece of plastic from Porsche. Even comes with the spray nozzles, plumbing and rain sensors.

--BUT--

The frickn electrical connectors were not the same. Quick call to the parts counter and they say thats the only part available. Fvck.
I had to cut the new connectors off and wire the old connectors to the new rain sensor wires. Its always something.

yikes...my cowl was all weathered to gray but then someone on the 997 fb forums posted about C4 GTechniq liquid so i figured for $50, I will give it a shot...holy cow. The cowl looks like new, all black again. Now, it's only been two months but so far a lot of rain here and still looks black.

Default Took it round and round VIR

My unmodified 2011 C2 and I enjoyed the weekend with 287 other cars at the Carolinas PCA HPDE weekend at VIR. Bliss! As a first-timer, I was amazed at the competence of the car. With each session I dove in deeper, braked harder and exited faster…and the car just carried on doing what Porsches do. We are both still giggling. Take your cars out to play - they will thank you.

Soup seems to have dropped it for Black Friday to $2965, so still a deal but not as good as I thought. The vendors price has changed to be more than Soul direct currently.

That's a great price from Soul. I'd jump on that... I did their crossover too... (Going to have some spare sleeves ceramiccoated ot match...). The Soul folks are great.
