Last weekend a few of us Porsche locals in Stuttgart met up and did a 2 1/2 drive through the Black Forest... I think I hit 102,000 miles and was thinking the same. But by god, once you actually drive these cars the more you realize those miles and collecting garage time is the real waste.
We were flat out (some parts that were safely calculated wiht no traffic) through the forest with some small German village stops here/there. In these moments, you really begin to realize how good the 911 is and why it is what it is from the 60s-now

Local PCA Chapter "OktoberFast" car show yesterday - so I decided to take my car and place it amongst some of the other Porsches here in town.
I discovered the best way to make my Meteor Grey C2S Cab become invisible - seeing it placed right next to a 997.1 Turbo in a Riviera Blue colored wrap...
Photos below, and also a short video of the event that I threw together this morning...

I bought it and drove it back from Ohio in a storm!
This is my second 997S, but this one has the Porsche sport shifter, it makes the world of difference!

There are a lot out there. I have the numeric short shifter and love it!
It's the oem short shifter, you can get it from suncoast.
As ^^^ mentioned, I've read great things about aftermarket units like the numeric shifter as well.
edit: just noticed you're from Chicago! I'm in the burbs
edit: 2 both of you guys are in the area haha!
