The fabspeed tips look great! I have the NHP ones, (similar I think? Like the AWE ones) I tried to keep them shiny & chrome but kind of like them all black with dragon smoke. I may get them ceramic coated one day.

Today I wet sanded my headlights and fog lights- they were getting super hazy. Not too hard to do, and worth it.

Also replaced my frunk switch which broke yesterday at work.

Posting a few "in process" and afters...

Noticed that my driver's side exhaust is hanging down a little. Gonna look closer tomorrow. Might be time for some Wevo Yellows, but trying to budget for those Numeric shifter cables...

Nice to hear a set are on the way to you as well! You should both send me some good pictures of them on your car so we can feature you on our website!

What kit/supplies did you use? Bought the rain-x version and was not impressed.

I didn't have a kit per sé - I bought some fine grit paper. I wanted 1000 and 2000, but settled for 600 and 1500. Soaked both in water for like 20 minutes and got to it. Did the 600 vertical and the 1500 horizontal. Then used the meguiars 105 and I think 205- orange and black pads with the buffer and then finished up with white pads and polish, and sealed with that aircraft wax- (temporary) - seems to work alright but i'm sure I need to level up.

All in all I was impressed for the roughly 2 hours spent. But i'm certain I could have done better and would have preferred the specific grits I was looking for.

Today I removed my painted lower spiler from the aerokit as it had gotten trashed from parking blocks and the crappy streets where I live. It lasted 4 months painted. Today I plastic-dipped it! It came out pretty nice. Now I can just re-spray when it gets scratched. Also got around to installing the Zunsport grills my wife got me for my birthday...

Thumbs up Very nice!

Looks great, love both the grills and the lower spoiler!

Did you put the spoiler on? How much & how difficult?

Sorry meant to Reply to Falcondrivr...

The lower spoiler just clips on and off. I think they made it that way because it gets destroyed on every bump... I changed the front bumper to the aerokit myself. It takes about 1 hour using the diy on here.

Installed the mounts for the hard top, and the hard top itself.
Also, Fabspeed chrome tips.

jsalah, your car looks outstanding, I have the hard top with my cab as well and I really like the way it looks when it is on the car. Here in Michigan we are near the end of top down weather so it will be going back on. I really like the way it distinguishes the roof line from the coupe.

Thanks for the kind words, Bomar -- I really like the look too. I know there are strong opinions on the hard top but I think it makes the 997 look a little retro which I like. Honestly I think it looks even better on a silver car like yours. Very sharp!

I would love to get a hard top for my cab... I might think about it once the weather gets below a really chilly 65 here. But that might not be for another few years.
