Replaced my engine mounts today. I had noticed my exhaust tips were seriously sagging and some of my shifts weren't as smooth as I would've expected. This is my first porsche so I wasn't exactly sure how the shifting would feel, but it nevertheless felt rougher than it should've been. There's a chance I'm not shifting right.. but i choose to ignore that possibility
Anyway, long story short is that the new mounts are awesome. The shifts are way smoother and my car shakes way less. I honestly didn't even realize my car wasn't supposed to be shaking like that. Easy job for anyone to do, just don't be dumb like me!
Did the same thing, but apart from sagging no more, I didn’t feel any change. It vibrates as before and I was hoping to go away. But you feel like sitting on a monster ))
Today I dismantled the driver’s mirror because it was having a slight vibration at high speeds. Well I found the reason:
In fact it was held in place pretty good only by the springs, so I will try to glue and reinforce the broken bits. It’s not that expensive to replace, but it won’t bring that much satisfaction as repairing it.
Ordered some euro mirrors for my car from a seller in Romania about a month ago. Took quite a while to find a set that was autodimming. Unfortunately, they seem to have sent me 997.2 glass instead of the 997.1 glass they had shown in photos and described.

Got around to fitting my 991 puddle lights for my 997.
I prefer these to the crest - my personal preference. Already did 991 style decals on my carbon step plates as everything ties in together.
Super quick job, took more time stripping the connecting wires and fitting a spade connector. I’m sure they will be brighter at night. Pics are from an underground garage with skylights.
I’ll post some pics at night
Night pics added

i need a replacement auto dim glass for my 997.2 drivers side... let me know if you’re looking to sell it.

Waiting to hear back from seller/ebay on next steps. Will let you know if they don't have me send them back.

They're aspherical on both sides rather than flat for the drivers side and convex for the passenger side. US DOT limits the driverside to flat so you can tell distance from the side view. I guess because most people use their side views as rear views here in the US.
